Traditional style hotel but room had everything, spa was great and breakfast ok. Georgia on reception was a big asset but all staff friendly and efficient
Cooked breakfast on 2nd day wasn’t as good as first day. Probably timed in at wrong. The music in the bar put us off drinking there as more skin to funeral music

I am unable to comment on the golf or spa facilities as we didn't use them. The location of the hotel was nice and staff were pleasant.
We went for a relaxing night in a countryside hotel and we were very disappointed. The hotel was very 'tired'. Both rooms were dark, dated, and had a view of bramble hedge. No sockets near the bed. The corridors to the rooms were cold and unwelcoming with worn carpet. The door from the bedroom corridor to the spa building was permanently open - so cold, windy and anyone could walk in. The lounge was ok but very noisy in the evening and the lounge chairs had very worn and dirty arms. Maybe if you were using this hotel special for the spa and golf it would be ok. But for a simple relaxing night away it did not work at all
