Very disappointed with The Green Garden

We enjoyed the pool, just needed more pool lounges there was only 5 available

There was no buffet breakfast, just ala carte, minimum selection on restaurant menu. No Spa . Mattress very hard . We use to stay at the Green Garden before Covid and really enjoyed it. Since the renovations we where very disappointed, the breakfast very average, No Buffet, they use to have a great spa, now that is gone

Value for money. Friendly and helpful staff. Cleanliness and maintenance of very high standards. Nice, clean pool. Rooftop seating area & Sundeck is an added bonus. Good location. Very satisfied with the food options.

Make sure your wifi and tv work before checking in .

No Wi-Fi or tv working for 24 hours the length of my stay .. Staff didn’t seem to care about this issue either . No offer of a simple free breakfast just blank stare. Will no go back .

Excellent value for money!

You can request pretty much anything (extra towels, cutlery for use in your room, etc.) and the staff will try to accommodate to the best of their ability! I asked for scissors for a crafting project once and they happily provided one!

They had to discontinue the airport taxi pick-up service during covid and it's never been back since. I know that there's probably very good financial reasons behind it, but I really wish they could bring it back in the future.

Very Strange location of toilet in bathroom. its in the middle of bathroom, right next to basin so you can't really stand at the basin and you can't really sit on the toilet properly as the its also so close to the shower booth, you have to sit bit to the side to sit on toilet. Bathroom overall smellt like pee. and I used water filter for shower, which turned into yellow next day.

Fantastic value

We had a ground floor room and loved being near the pool. The rooms were very comfortable with a good size fridge. Its in a very central position in Kuta and we would definitely stay again.

The only thing I could fault was the breakfast was a set menu and sometimes I like to decide what and how much I have but it was still fantastic value for money and my husband loved the breakfast.

We felt right t home at the Green Garden

We stayed at Green Garden Hotel after switching last minute from another very disappointing hotel. We arrived in the middle of the night and were given a corner room that was a bit noisy, but the next day the staff kindly changed our room and we ended up extending our stay. The team was always friendly and even prepared a breakfast bag for us when we had to leave early for a tour. A really nice experience overall!

Didnt get to use some of the facilities like the roof terrace and the pool. But that was not the fault of the property

The staff were amazing , so friendly and helpful (especially securing us a ride to airport at peak time when many cancelled after storm/floods). Our stay was excellent, ticked every box, very comfortable bed and pillows, good selection for breakfast, super friendly staff, very clean and sound-proof rooms, entertainment near the front bar, lovely pool and top notch location - could not fault this wonderful boutique hotel.

That we only booked for 2 nights - we should of stayed longer, definitely will next trip.

the set breakfast options were disappointing almost un editable the pool temperature is very cold would not recommend for small children we had difficulty checking out early 4.30am to catch a 7am flight as the staff member was asleep away from reception and we had to yell out to find him and then he was not sure how to handle the paperwork

Lovely small hotel in the heart of Kuta.

Perfectly located in the heart of busy Kartika Plaza. Many shops and restaurants right on your doorstep. Fresh feeling as the rooms seem to have been renovated recently.The lift to the upper floors is a bonus for oldies. Recently renovated with a fresh feel. Good value for money and adequate breakfast. The negatives described below do not disqualify Green Garden and would consider staying here again.

We were in room 321 for 6 days. When we moved in, the fridge freezing box was totally boxed up with ice as the door is not sealing. I made them defrost it and restarted it but it was the same again after 4 days. It is old and rusted and needs to be replaced. Only open shelves instead of a wardrobe for clothing. On the 4th day, our room became suddenly infected with small cockroached everywhere. They brought baygon spray but it didnt work as there were more appearing from the wooden furniture overnight so we went to buy more and also treated our clothes and suitcases when we packed to leave. Upon vacating I informed them that the room needs to be properly fumigation as the Baygon spray from the grocery store is not working and they said that they would. The waterfall into the pool is a picturist feature creating a nice atmosphere, but people on the ground floor were complaining about its loud noise. It is on an auto-switch and goes off at about bedtime. The waterfall was, however, not noisy from our room on the 1st floor. If it weren't for the coackroaches and fridge I would have given it a top score and we would even stay there again with pre-confirmarion from management that the room was properly fimigated and that the fridge is working as overall it is a nice small hotel and provides good value for money and with the busy streets and street food vendors and humidity, it is possible for any hotel to experience an occasional coacroach problem, That should however be addressed with routine fumigation and not a once-off can of over-the-counter insect aerosol.

For the price point you wont get better, this hotel punches above it weight.

We had paid a similar price for a overnight stay in Padang Bai after arriving in Indonesia from Melbourne and it was very bad, so our expectations were low on our last night before leaving Bali. But......we were completely gob smacked at how amazing the Green Garden Hotel was. From our arrival, check in, clean as a whistle room and HUGE comfortable bed, it was bang on.

There was nothing not to like.
