A very well appointed hotel with friendly staff and good facilities.

Breakfast was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very clean.

The room was far too hot and the heating very difficult to control. This made sleeping quite uncomfortable.

Do not choose the Junior suite as it has no shower and make sure you check your room actually has a shower.

Junior suite was large.

Bathroom whilst large in size was HORRIBLE in design. IT HAD NO FUNCTIONAL SHOWER. you could only use the bath and had to sit on a chair to use the bath to wash yourself with one hand, whilst needing two hands to operate the soap dispenser. This was despicable and the bathroom desperately needs to be renovated.

Good hotel but don’t expect much at breakfast

The breakfast staff - not very polite. In a hurry to pick up your plates. We went for breakfast at 8am and asked for fresh croissants - apparently they didn’t have any- not a very good answer when breakfast is limited and you’re out of bread! so imagine if you came later you’d be left hungry

Great pick for our stay in Interlaken.

This was a great central location for exploring the area. I liked staying in Interlaken as our base for exploring the area. The hotel was easily accessible to the train station. The staff were friendly, helpful and fluent in English. The breakfast was outstanding and the rooms were spacious, modern and comfortable. A great stay.

Nice hotel but very limited car park

Nice location friendly staff

They do not have car park only for 10 cars , I stayed up to midnight waiting for vacancy to park my car , I have to week up before 7 am to pay ticket from the machine for my car park they should find a solution for the car park there are 61 rooms at the hotel

The location and they give you good fans in the summer

Some of the staff were rude (not to me but to other guests especially in the dining area in the breakfast, someone didn’t know how to use the boiling egg thing and the old woman started almost shouting at him which was unnecessary, you could just show him how to use it idk how he didn’t shout back or stand for himself. The breakfast was meh too. The bar lady was super nice tho she deserves to work with better people

Wonderful and memorable stop!

We liked the roomy bedroom space. Wished there was airconditioning; fortunately, you supplied us with fans. Breakfast was also good. Most importantly, the location was perfect. We practically walked from the rail station to the hotel, from hotel to Harder Kulm's location, to Grandhotel Victoria, and to many dining places. Otherwise, you can take the bus (the hotel provided us with them). Hotel Du Nord is right beside Hotel Interlaken which has a good restaurant.

The washroom was a bit smaller than expected. Also, while being fussy, can you ban women who walk around the breakfast area in their pajamas? The hotel is a public place, not our home! It is just plain rude and lack of manners! (Hopefully, they read my comments here.)

I like the vibe of this lovely hotel , the staffs there are absolutely helpful and nice , especially a girl name ‘Karina ‘ I wish I name correctly, she’s amazing friendly , big eyes with a cute voice lol very cheerful, my room Tv has some problem and she came upstairs try very well to help and solve the problem . Interlaken is a wonderful town and I will 100% reserve this hotel again , better check the weather before come visit . It can be very cold when it’s raining .

Charming hotel in Interlaken

This charming hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Interlaken, just an easy 8-minute walk from Interlaken OST station. The hotel has a modern and clean design, and we were warmly welcomed by the reception staff—check-in and check-out were both smooth and hassle-free. The room was surprisingly spacious for a standard European size, and beautifully furnished—definitely our favourite hotel room during our Switzerland trip. Breakfast was quite good, though not the best we had on our journey.

The only feedback I would give is that the carpets on the first floor have a slightly damp or old smell—it might be worth considering replacing them as there’s a noticeable scent when you enter. Also, having some bottled water available in the fridge would be a thoughtful touch for guests, especially since the rooms can get quite warm during the summer. Hope this helps! :)

Very nice hotel

The hotel is really well located: walking distance from Interlaken Ost, in front of a big and lovely park. The room is super comfortable and the view is memorable. The staff super helpful and friendly

It doesn’t have air conditioning so bear that in mind in case you’re going in the summer. The provided good fans and we were fine with that, but if you suffer in hot weather maybe it’s not your place

We stayed for 6 nights and breakfast was same everyday. Halal options would be nice to add. No AC in the hotel and we were there in mid june when it was about 80F

Not value for money

The location is excellent. Great view from the room and the breakfast area.

- No air conditioning; absolutely uninhabitable during this heatwave. - The room looks nothing like the photos; very small and run-down. - Bizarre rules like you can’t wash your socks or any intimate clothing, whereas they do not have any laundry service either. Upon asking, the staff didn’t even know what dry cleaning is, and shoved a laundromat brochure at our hand. Are we there for a holiday or to do washing? And are guests who are staying for a week just supposed to be wearing used socks and pants? - Cleaning was below-par, with staff actually putting back used glasses from bathroom back into the desk. - Sheets not being changed; absolutely appalling quality of pillows.

Hotel didn’t have alternative milk(Non Dairy) For even room key replacement, they were charging 10 CHF per key. I have not seen any other hotel charging for the same.
