Villa Il Frantoio is a GEM of a place to stay on the Amalfi Coast. We booked based on past reviews and photos and we are SO happy we were able to stay here. The location of the property is perfect. Located on the mountain side of Praiano overlooking the Mediterranean and Positano, surrounded by gardens —- this hotel is pure bliss.
Everything!!! The hosts were soooo kind, treated us like family and went above and beyond. They gave us so many helpful recommendations for restaurants and things to do — we wish we had more time on this property. Our room had the best views. We loved that we were surrounded by gardens and grass and felt so peaceful. The breakfast was UNREAL— the croissants were the best croissants I have ever had — I will forever be dreaming of them.

This is a very special place that will hold a lot of memories for us. Breakfast in the garden room with beautiful views of the coast was a lovely start to the day. We stayed in the 2 bed house which was great for the 4 of us.
The staff are all very friendly & welcoming & we had a wonderful stay.
The steps! But we expected them & used the back route when we arrived & left with our luggage.

We were met at the gate by smiling hosts and showed to our room as well as given advice on where to eat and how to get around town. Extremely helpful and spot on as we tried most of the restaurants recommended and they were great!
We didn’t want to leave so everything was wonderful including the delicious breakfast
