Really friendly and helpful staff. The service is exceptional throughout our stay.

Needs a swimming pool.

We loved our stay at the Savoy 1918 - exceptionally friendly front desk, throughout the hotel high quality fixtures, thoughtful little details such as a beautiful and effective gadget to indicate "do not disturb"/"please make up room" or French Press coffee in the room, and a stylish sauna area. The breakfast featured an a la carte selection and a small buffet with essentials; while overall the selection is limited (e.g., very limited muesli options), the experience is very upscale and you are guaranteed to be sated as you can order multiple items.

There is a single available power outlet in the entire room (and we had a 4-people corner room); there are additional USB outlets at the bed but these won't do for many gadgets. The small gym has a useful selection of equipment to maintain a fitness routine for a few days but the chin-up bar at the rack sadly cannot be used as a lamp is thoughtlessly placed right above it, waiting to bang the user's head with each repetition. These are small nuisances which I hope the hotel can address to reach perfection! :)

The location is great! Ultra central, walking distance to the Royal Palace and other atractions, easy to get to a Hop on Hop off station. The beds are confortable and the room and bathroom clean. The brakfact is prety nice.

The evening meal is horrible. Better not to consider it an eat somewhere else. The staff is nice but not so knowledgeable about the parking and how to use the discount code (you only get 89kr discount for the complete stay). It would be nice to have a microwave for parents who need to heat up stuf. Some of the staff was nice, others no so much.
