Disappointing

On the surface the hotel looked modern and comfortable.

The bath was very unstable and it had been patched over from a previous brake. This made showering very difficult as the base of the bath moved.

A smart hotel in a great location for anyone wishing to visit Bruges or, in our case, using it as a stopping off point for the Eurotunnel. Very friendly and helpful staff, lovely courtyard area for drinks/dining on a warm evening and an excellent bar and restaurant. Room was large….as was the bathroom. The hotel was quite busy and clearly very popular with locals, business people, foreign visitors and, on this occasion the LIDL/ TREK pro cycling team!!

If I was being critical…..there were a small number of small holes/scuff marks in the walls near the lift on the first floor presumably made by service trolleys. That’s about it…….

No shower available

The switch from shower to tap didn't function. After late check-in just to spend overnight at the hotel and not being able to normally take a shower in the morning and having to wash long hair under tap turned out to be very uncomfortable. The receptionist didn't even apologize for this inconvenience and just made a confused face. Absolutely not worth the price!

Disappointing 4 star stay

It was looking very sad for a 4 star hotel. Niggly little things. Breakfast absolutely disgusting, nothing was replenished. Ate at 9.30 one day that was the worst ate at 8.00 next day . A little improvement. Won't stay there again

Bad experience. The experience doesn't justify the price

Very disappointed with the rooms. Don’t be fooled by the exterior – the inside looks nothing like the photos shown on the website. I genuinely feel scammed. The price does not reflect the quality you get. When I asked to change rooms due to crumbling walls and a rusty radiator, the receptionist was unhelpful and dismissive, showing no concern for my situation. Additionally, the bar prices are high considering what’s offered.

At 9.30 lot of breakfast items no longer available, so be early for breakfast. Coffee machine lacked proper cleaning. Vague dirty stains in sofas of one room Shower not really working well in other room Damaged/scratched furniture, walls and ceiling, seems to lack maintenance. Loud ventilation in one room although airco was switched off.

The atmosphere was lovely—a quality hotel. The room was nice, I liked the bathroom.

More lighting in the room for those who like it brighter wouldn't go amiss.

The was the first hotel of a 3 day road trip of Belgium and France, and it was by far the best.

Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, both on reception and in the bar. The room was enormous and well equipped. Free car parking was a bonus, and the hotel have a good arrangement with a local taxi firm for getting into the centre of Brugge.

The breakfast was lovely, plenty of choice including hot cooked breakfast. well stocked no waiting for anything no matter what time you went. Staff were lovely and helpful and there was even a shuttle bus/taxi into town as we were slightly out of the city. Loved every minute.

Bad value for money

Good location if you drive, plenty of car charging points. Spacious room, nice drink selection during breakfast

No value for money, charging high but offer was average. Room was very ‘tired’, old furniture, walls need repainting, one lampshade wasn’t working. Breakfast was limited too, no porridge available, not much option for child to eat.
