Beautiful gem with personal approach

The view is worth a million, especially in “master bedroom”. Having breakfast looking at the bay and the rocks is setting the tone for the whole vacation.

Wonderful stay at a wonderful place

My family and I stayed at Anna Pension for 9 nights, and it was a wonderful stay. Anna and his husband are lovely people, kind and welcoming. We felt like being at home, taken care and in a stunning place. The view is simply breathtaking, and the studio is equipped with everything you may need (kettle, plates, microwave oven, pots and pans, coffee brewer etc). The studio was also perfectly clean, and Anna changed the bed sheets and towels every 2/3 days. We loved spending time in the garden with a great view, while my little one of 1.5y was running around surrounded by pine trees, olive trees and walnut trees.

Bathroom downstairs , bedroom upstairs. Kitchen hob temporary. No proper table indoors and sofa not facing TV so had to sit on uncomfortable 2nd bed

Could have been better

Unfortunately, not the best experience. There was no communication from the property before our arrival, so we were unsure of the exact address and check-in process. When we finally found the place, no one was there to greet us, despite us arriving at the time we had indicated. With no mobile signal in the area, we had to drive back into town to call the hosts. Eventually, someone came to open the apartment for us. The apartment itself is nice, with a spectacular view and lovely sunbeds on the lawn, which we really enjoyed. However, the bathroom was not clean—there was hair on the floor, and the drains had an unpleasant smell. We received no further communication from the hosts until the day we were leaving, when they told us we hadn’t paid. This was surprising, as we had used Booking.com’s “pay now” option and assumed the amount had already been charged to our credit card. They also asked us for an extra €20 due to a date change (from May to June), which was fine, but the way they approached us was abrupt and made for an extremely awkward conversation. In summary, the property is a simple, family-run pension with stunning views. The accommodation is basic—the beds and pillows are not very comfortable—and it’s clear that the hosts need to improve their communication and professionalism, especially for online bookings.

Pleasant Surprise

Can't beat the location. Beautiful views. Easy walk to the beach. Anna herself is lovely. The rooms are basic but have everything you need. I was pleasantly surprised and the price was very fair, especially as we were visiting during high season and booked the night before. There are a few restaurants walking distance but the best ones (in my opinion) are a short drive away. You need a car to properly explore the area.

A lovely location to have a quiet getaway.

It was the perfect place to relax and unwind for a few days. It’s just a couple of minutes walk to the gorgeous blue water beach and restaurants. The hosts are friendly without being intrusive and they put out a great breakfast every morning. And the view of the bay looks just like the photos.

We knew it was a traditional pension, a little rustic, so that is fine but it’s good to know before you book. Wifi is a bit spotty.

We had a really great time in Liapades and the pension provided everything we needed for the week.

The location is fabulous, so close to a lovely beach and great views from the garden. The hosts were really friendly and made us feel welcomed. We ordered dinner on our last evening and the homecooked food was delicious.

There were times when the plumbing wasn't great and there were occasional drain smells in the location, which could have been due to wider problems across the village.

Given tiny room instead of apartment booked

We booked the superior apartment with sea view for our stay in liapades, an apartment with two bedrooms and a kitchen which cost us €100 per night, however when we checked in we were shown to a twin room which costs €40 a night with no explanation given. When we went out to complain, they initially offered us free breakfast but no refund saying that it wasn't their fault the hotel was overbooked. After more complaining, they offered us a €100 refund for the two nights in the cheaper room and free breakfast. This was still disappointing to us as we were hoping to cook while staying in liapades. At this point we were aware that the same thing happened to another set of travellers that arrived at the same time. We went out for dinner and when we came back, Anna offered us a €80 refund for the two nights and a move to the split level family apartment for the second night. We agreed to this and the second room situation was much nicer which is why I didn't give it a lower review. Overall, the situation took away from what was supposed to be a relaxing couple of days at the beach and we were left in a situation that if we hadn't complained repeatedly, they would have taken our €200 for a small room without any compensation. As this happened to another set of travellers at the same time as us, it feels like a way of trying to get extra money.

we were walking the Corfu Trail. this accommodation has beautiful views and is very comfortable. only a short walk from the lovely town of Liapades. The local beach bar singing ‘why why why Delilah’ was far enough away not to bother us.

Anna is a lovely host, she welcomed us in the late evening. She was so kind to give us a bottle of milk for the kids, as the shops were closed at that time. And she gave us a cold beverage. The days after that the contact was still great, the rooms were kept clean by the housekeeper, and when we ran out of clothes, wr could use the washing machine. Great service, breathtaking view, amazing location. We would certainly recommend this olace to families.

Very good

Lovely sea views - you can sit and listen to the ocean in the evening. Very quiet and a great place to chill. The beach (3 mins walk) is one of the better ones we saw on the island. Very much recommend the Village Restaurant a short drive back up the hill - giant pizzas and wonderful pasta.

Soundproofing could be an issue if you are unlucky with your neighbours. The last part of the drive into the property is a bit steep and a bit skiddy when wet - but worth the effort!

Best place in corfu with stunning panorama

The view is stunning, the location is the best in Corfu and the apartmant had everything we needed. Anna was very welcoming and helped us with everything, she even offered to go and buy a new crib for our baby. The rooms were cleaned everyday. Absolutely recommended!

Very good

The view and location was absolutly perfect! Close to beautiful nature and beaches, peace and quite. We had a amazing walk to Rovinia beach through a forest of old olive trees and wild flowers.

The bed was a little to hard for us, but ok.
