    It's a perfect place to stay in Venice. The hotel is quite old but it was very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed over the hottest August days and the AC in the room worked perfectly. Hotel's location is exceptional, it's just 5-minute walk from San Zaccara vaporetto stop, from which you can also take a water taxi directly to the airport. Highly recommended!

    This sensational located hotel away from the tourist traps and well connected to the airport with express transport and a mini work to Saint Marcos square is magnificent. It’s quintessential Italian, the pictures, art , furniture are all authentic and hand picked with history. The beds are firm but extremely comfortable, the local scent sprayed in rooms other worldly and the breakfast is a must with excellent price value. I don’t eat breakfast normally but here to start the day I took a gamble and the entire experience of the hotel is authentic Italian with no frills. Bravo

    Fontana hotel is in a fabulous location. Very close to a water taxi stop and convenient to popular spots. Nice restaurants are close to hotel. Owner was wonderful. We will return to this hotel.

    Love the entire quaint vibe. View of the street in front was great had windows to listen to the rain or the hustle and bustle of Venice. Bathrooms are newly renovated and kept clean. Very good value.
