The hotel was very cold. I complained to reception. I was told the door from the restaurant to the outside was broken so it had to stay open. As it was inconvenient for the staff. We all had to go to our rooms to get warm. The receptionist couldn’t care a less. She just shrugged

We came to enjoy the view on the river Schelde and that's exactly what we got and very much enjoyed.

The gym was full of chairs and not usable. We booked a sauna, but it wasn't turned on so never got to use it.

Nice hotel next to beach and boulevard

The breakfast was excellent and the lounge/bar areas are a nice place to relax and enjoy the sea views. Breakfast: fresh juices, coffee, croissants, variety of bread, yoghurts, sausages and cooked eggs. All in all plenty of choice to design your tasty breakfast. If you have a window table you can keep an eye on the big cargo ships and sailboats setting sail for the North Sea. (One of the highlights). The hotel staff is very friendly and accommodating to the travellers needs. The hotel room is well equipped and has a modern look and feel.

The "one" elevator is a bit slow but with the stairs you won't be faster. I think this hotel should have at least two elevators to address the elevator ride demand at rush-hours. The bathroom floor can be very slippery, be careful as the tiles are as smooth as silk. The shower is in a bathtub, this could be difficult for older/disabled people who want to take a shower.

All staff are very friendly. It's quiet at night which is good for sleep.

I couldn't pay by my VISA or MASTER credit card, while had to pay by cash. The breakfast is to be improved with more options instead of only same food everyday.

It is very close to the restaurants and city centre. The room was big. The breakfast was nice and the staff were pleasant.

Although the room was big, there was a very small radiator in the room and it was quite cold. The bed was two single but everytime I moved, the bed would move too so I could not use the whole double bed. The bathroom looked clean but I know for sure that cleaning the room floor was not a priority. I did leave couple of things on the floor and they were not picked up during my whole stay.

Staff was amazing and restaurant was great.

Stayed in the room next to the elevator, could hear the elevator doors opening and closing. The AC did not work at all and was making a big noise. The double bed split up as it was actually 2 singles pushed together.

the overnight price of this hotel indicates a four star level but it’s clearly three star experience ( car park facing hotel room in third floor without desk light , missing plugs near the working desk , broken furniture/chair , 70 style bathroom , limited choices for breakfast , and high priced dinner with small portions , staff in breakfast room not really in active in frontline service for the guest . There is room for improvement .
