Good breakfast good location

Very cramped and uncomfortable chairs and table when spending time in the room

The location is excellent. If the weather is good and you're a walker, it's a lovely walk from the train station (about 30 minutes) along the river Scheldt (west). Otherwise, catch the bus to Badhuisstraat stop and walk a couple of minutes up to the hotel. Or take a taxi. The blend and atmosphere of the hotel has been done exquisitely to preserve the former Netherlands Maritiem College. Congratulations! Former student guests and their relatives are encouraged to go up to the tower that has been renovated beautifully. The first level has a glass desk and there are embossed books for students to write down some of their memories and experiences at the college and in the maritime environment. Caution: good mobility is required to access the stairways to the tower. Mobility access is good to the rest of the hotel. I enjoyed how a sample of each type of bedroom was available to view. The cleanliness is superb, the hot water is hot and readily so. The rooms have a coffee machine with delicious expresso coffee and a kettle. Daily room service is for the individual to choose. The staff are attentive and friendly. The welcome water glasses and water at the reception was appreciated. I did not have breakfast however it looked good. I did have an evening bar snack and the bitterballen were very good - meaty. Very good access to the town centre, as well as the lovely walking-hiking routes along the dunes and coast. Bus and train routes nearby and, of course, great for reaching the bicycle paths. Check-out time is later at 11 a.m. - this always suits me. And, it was a bonus to meet and have a chat to one of the owners on checking out. Keep up the excellent service and standards. Thank you ... I hope to be back.

Nothing to comment on. Maybe put some mobility access information more clearly on the door at the boulevard side telling people that there is a ramp and easy access round at the city side entrance.

Location was very good, excellent breakfast, friendly & efficient staff.

Automatic light in the toilet takes too long to go out when visiting the toilet during the night.

Room had no proper window ( on near the very high ceiling) would not have booked room if I’d known Only small mirror over extremely small sink only possible to see head and shoulders Breakfast absolutely fine but chaotic at weekend as they are attempting a delivered service with several customer touch points with not enough staff So long waits for another tea/ coffee then Monday however was quiet so no issues

Newly renovated place, very stylish and tasty. Staff was extremely friendly and cheerful. Great location.

Sound isolation of the room (I had the last one on the first floor)

Newly opened hotel in beautifully renovated building of great character in direct beach front and only short walk from downtown! The restaurant serves delicious food and has a great selection of wines and drinks. The staff was delight, helpful and very friendly!

Lokatie is top! Keileuke barman!

De wijze om het ontbijt aan tafel op te dienen vind ik niet echt praktisch. Brood en croissantjes passen niet op de standaard.
