Pleasant

The location is in the center of the town, within walking distance from the sea. The room was okay, with a terrace and the breakfast was good.

The personnel was not always ready to help (meanwhile 'talking' to other personnel...), the terrace was not what we expected (for a good view and to relax). The coffee machine at breakfast works slowly so you have to stand in line... not so lovely when you want to enjoy your meal.

Great location.

Some trouble checking in. I got an occupied room twice, but they resolved it after. Strange thing was that I asked for a room where pets were allowed and was told there were none left. But the couple who got my original room had a dog with them.

Perfect location for a nice and healthy weekend at sea.

The location of the hotel is excellent, as you can start walking on the beach and in the dunes immediately. The room was excellent, very modern. Staff was very friendly.

The only thing that bothered us a little was the fact that we had to walk a certain distance to that free parking area (500 m). The parking space in front of the hotel was not allowed. We do not know if this is always so or just because there will be a marathon soon.

Great hotel to unwind from everyday stresses.

Lovely breakfast including Vegan options just help yourself to as much food and drinks as you wish. Very helpful staff called emailed etc before we arrived and we’re all friendly throughout

The staff were very friendly! The bed was comfortable, the reception area was cutesy and clean.the breakfast was well organised and the location is perfect to explore the town. We will be returning, on a more sunny day.

It was a pity that the hotel had construction happening right under our room at 9am! I understand, the significance of selling a room during these hard times (corona) nevertheless it didn't help seeing as it was already rainy. A good night sleep would have improved the stay. Also the guests above us seem like they were moving furniture, lots of noise was experience.

Zeer uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet met heerlijke dingen. De kamer was schoon, netjes en leuk ingericht. Het personeel was erg vriendelijk.

Kamer en badkamer waren een beetje klein maar dit heeft geen invloed op ons verblijf gehad.

Zu viele negative Dinge, die die Lage nicht kompensieren kann.

Lage nah am Strand, direkt hinterm Deich. Leider zu viele negative Punkte, als dass die Lage es kompensieren könnte.

NoGo #1 für uns: die Hellhörigkeit des Hauses. Wände aus Papier - man hört jedes Wort aus dem Nachbarzimmer. Die nicht schallgedämmte Decke zwischen 1. und 2. OG ist eine Frechheit für ein Hotel. Wenn oben jemand läuft, kann man sich im Zimmer eigentlich kaum aufhalten. Zimmertüren selbstschließend und knallen. Alle. Frühstück enttäuschend: kaum Auswahl, keine veganen Alternativen - auch auf Nachfrage nicht, trotz mehrtägigen Aufenthalt. Eine Stunde vor Schluss hat immer irgendwas gefehlt (Brot, Bacon, Eier). Bei der Lage muss man sich bewusst sein, dass es sehr laut ist, da die Treppe auf den Deich und zum Strand direkt vor dem Hotel liegt unterhalb der Balkone. Laute Passant:innen abends/nachts. Aufpreis für Hunde von knapp 20€/Tag unverschämt. Zimmer Bodenbelag für alte Hunde nicht geeignet, da spiegelglatt. Für kleinere Kinder sind die Zimmer nicht geeignet. Lichtschalter, Duschgel, Shampoo etc. ist alles auf 1,5m Höhe angebracht (warum??) und somit unerreichbar (darauf angesprochen, ob man Duschgel und Shampoo separat haben könnte, gab es einfach ein "Nein, haben wir nicht"). Es ist uns mehrfach aufgefallen, dass das Personal recht unmotiviert und an Lösungen nicht interessiert ist. Zimmertemperatur nicht regulierbar. Viel zu warm. Wir mussten nachts im November die Balkontür offen lassen um eine halbwegs angenehme Temperatur zu erreichen. Andererseits kann man die Balkontür aus mehreren Gründen eigentlich nicht offen lassen: 1. Rauchen auf den Balkonen erlaubt. Der Zigarettenrauch vom Nachbarbalkon zieht ins Zimmer. 2. Kein Überkletterschutz zwischen den Balkonen. 3. Kirche 25m nebenan, Glocke schlägt alle halbe Stunde auch nachts. Strand sehr dreckig. Kein Meter ohne Plastikmüll. Wir kommen definitiv nicht wieder.
