Second Beach is just steps from this home. Second Beach offers surfing & paddle board rentals. Walking distance to Easton’s Beach. After a day at the beach, sightseeing on the Cliff Walk or Bellevue Mansions (1 to 2 miles away) visit downtown Newport, approx. 2 miles for wonderful restaurants and shops. Tall ship, Jazz Festival, Folk Festival and more!

Wood floors throughout, open kitchen, dining area and living room. The master bedroom has a Queen bed and full bath. 2nd bedroom has a Queen bed, 3rd bedroom has a full bed and 2 twin beds. 4th bedroom has 2 full bed and 2 twins (one is a trundle bed). Sit back and relax. Great Family location.
The home includes air conditioning on the first floor. Grill on the large deck. Fully equipped kitchen with microwave, k-cup coffee maker, toaster oven, dishwasher, dishes, utensils, glasses, pots & pans, cable TV, Internet access, all bed linens, bath towels and beach towels and laundry room.

The house location and grounds are fantastic, with great beach and downtown Newport access. The huge lawn and plantings are kept meticulously well and the house is set between two gigantic mansions right next to the beach. You can hear the waves crash.
Inside, the house is adequate but unremarkable, and we had a few issues with moisture and musty smell in the downstairs level, inadequate lighting, and a very high step coming up to the entry door (hands over knees for a couple people in our party).
Cooking supplies are at a minimal level and the furniture is sparse and not very comfortable. The space is open and has a lot of unrealized potential to feel more homey and be better furnished and supplied. Next time, I would bring more of the creature comforts of home with me.
The shortcomings of the house were made up for by the location and I would consider going back for that alone. Five stars for location and three stars for the house itself.

Nice space , facilities, location. Easy walk to beach.
One safety issue should be addressed: the front steps include one (the lowest) that is about 2-3 inches higher than the others and was uncomfortable and felt risky.
I think it should be remedied as soon as possible.

Only a short walk to second beach! Very clean home with open floor plan which is great for a family vacation.

Best house ever! Great location and home has all amenities you need. Kim the property manager was very efficient and handled our requests promptly. Will be back next year
