Exceptionnal hotel at walking distance to beautiful Naoussa

Beautiful hotel, we stayed at the Uranus suite which was very cozy. The main pool is gorgeous, the restaurant is delicious and the staff is very nice and competent. We enjoyed the proximity to Naoussa

Almost wonderful, but fell a bit short.

Lovely pool area, nice rooms. Good toiletries and nice welcome note/snack. Restaurant staff was very efficient for our large group's lunch.

For the price, the property just felt a little off. Stressed staff, inefficient check-in for our group, and very expensive restaurant.

We stayed for a week and, unfortunately, did not feel safe: • A Rolex watch disappeared from our room during the cleaning window. • The hotel has no cameras, so there is no accountability. • Our request that no staff enter the room after the incident was ignored.

I have stayed in many similar hotels before but the staff and food at Parilio is by far the best.

Breakfast was exceptional. It was free and unlimited and chef prepared with a variety of delicious dishes available.

Rooms are great - spacious, well appointed, and clean. Included breakfast was delicious. Pool is fantastic. Staff is extremely helpful - helped with arranging car rental, activities, dinner reservations.

The location is good - not far from Naoussa, but not walking distance. It still requires a taxi, car service, or rental car to get there. Likewise, for access to the nearest beach at Kolymbithres. You could walk there, but when it's super hot in the summer it's not the most pleasant walk.

Disappointment

I visited Parilio is 2020 and back then i believed it was the best hotel i have ever been. The facilities, the cleanliness, the design and the service were second to none.

This time it was completely the opposite. The service was unacceptable. This time around the breakfast was a la carte but to order something we would have to wait for the staff to come to us for more than 20 minutes. This didn’t just happen once but every single day. The orders also took too much time to arrive. It seemed that there was not any coordination between the kitchen and the service. Housekeeping also unacceptable, there were 2 out of the 5 nights of our stay that we went back to the room at 530pm and the rooms weren’t made yet. There was also a time when i went to the room and found my door wide open while the housekeeper was not in the room cleaning. She was next door! Ordering something to drink from the pool was the same story. Took ages to bring the order! I just couldn’t believe that this was the same hotel i visited 5 years ago.

Disappointing Experience – Not the Boutique Retreat They Promise

The food was excellent. Both dinner and breakfast were beautifully prepared and genuinely enjoyable — the one area where the hotel clearly shines.

The bedding in our room was significantly ripped — not a small tear, but visibly damaged fabric that should never be present in a hotel of this supposed standard. The robes provided were incredibly worn out, with large holes in them, and when we asked for replacements, the staff brought us another one… which was dirty. We appreciated that the staff tried to respond to our concerns — they were friendly and made efforts to amend things — but it quickly became clear that the issue isn’t with individual staff members, it’s with training and a clear lack of management oversight. The service felt underdeveloped and disorganized, more like a box-ticking exercise than genuine hospitality. Other disappointments included warm beer being served and a bizarre playlist of cheesy old songs that really disrupted the ambience they’re trying to create. What made it all make sense was the realization — only once we were already staying — that the hotel is part of the Marriott group. Parilio might advertise itself as a boutique property, but it has all the hallmarks of a polished corporate hotel. If you’re seeking an authentic, intimate boutique experience in Paros, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.

Beautiful looking hotel, but I wouldn’t spend my money staying there again.

Bed was not comfortable at all. One side of the bed dipped. Lots of paper work to sign on check in….liability etc. Not even explained to us. I don’t complete this anywhere else I go. Staff not really friendly, except Stelios at breakfast. Biggest gripe is that the nearest beach is around 1 kilometre away and town is about a 7 minute drive and yet they do not provide a free shuttle service. They will charge you 25Euro to get into town, whereas a taxi ride back from local taxi costs 15 Euro. To drive me to port they wanted 55Euro , I organised a taxi for 30Euro. I understand that they cannot drive all guests to port but surely for a 5 star establishment there should be a free shuttle (hourly) into town. This was a real disappointment. While the hotel is beautiful it is not in a nice location and does not offer what a 5 star place should.

It has beautiful facilities, Architecture, the staff is friendly, and so accommodating and the FOOD IS FABULOUS!!

A piece of Paros paradise

One of the best hotels we have ever stayed at! Bed was incredibly comfy, food and breakfasts were amazing, lovely friendly and helpful staff, beautiful rooms and pool area to relax! Will absolutely be back :) highly recommend!!

Well, for a 1,4k/night hotel paying 10€ to bring the breakfast to our room seemed unnecessary. In our room, we expected a small pool in our tarrace, instead there is a small jacuzzi.

Well designed but overpriced escape lacking proximity to good beaches.

A beautifully designed, serene island escape.

Not all rooms are created equal. the first room we were given was dramatically different than the pictures shown on the website. The hotel was only able to get us into the right room halfway through our stay. Both rooms we stayed in had showers that leaked water into the bathroom so you had to deal with wet floors until the housekeepers came in the AM. The location of the hotel is remote (and not in a good way) - it’s surrounded by construction sites and dirt roads. For the price you pay, the hotel should offer better views or adjacency to the beach. Half way through breakfast one day, an all out brawl went down between the kitchen staff. Not exactly the vibe we wanted to experience on our honeymoon.

Possibly the most beautiful place we've stayed. The suite was incredible. The grounds were magnificent. The pool was serene. Food and drinks were absolutely first class. The best part, though, was probably the service. The staff was incredible and attentive and friendly, and they took the time to get to know you. They will leave little treats in your room to greet you after some time away We absolutely would come back and wished we could have stayed longer. Lastly, this hotel bed is probably the best bed you will ever have in your entire life.

This is an absolutely beautiful resort. The only thing I would caution is that you will be staying outside of town, so be prepared to drive or use taxi or car service if you're looking to get to Naoussa or other villages.

Pool area was great. Staff were lovely. Breakfast and food menu was healthy and delicious.

It was about 10/15 minutes drive from either of the nearby towns so it wasn't super easy to go exploring unless transfers were organised.
