Murphys Hideaway offers great views, a peaceful location on over 5 acres and all the comforts of home. The location is private and scenic and is minutes from downtown Murphys. The house has AC, three comfy queen beds and linens, a kitchen with gourmet utensils, 2 TV's, BBQ (both gas and charcoal), and a wood burning stove with wood provided. The spacious rear deck provides a large, comfortable outdoor living and entertainment area with consistently stunning sunset views. The house is well furnished and has all the amenities to make your stay as comfortable as possible including old time Hunter ceiling fans in every room. If cooking while on your vacation is not your idea of fun, a variety of restaurants are minutes away. The house has satellite TV service , wireless internet access, games, washer and dryer, linens and is furnished with beautiful antiques. An assortment of animals and many bird species can be viewed regularly from the back deck including hawks, deer and rabbits. The neighborhood is sparsely populated which means there is not a lot of traffic. The roads in the neighborhood are great places to walk or bike. Mountain biking both on road and off road are right out the front door. The Arnold Rim Trail has access points located nearby. Murphys Hideaway provides a tranquil and restful getaway after your day full of the local activities the area has to offer like visiting Big Trees Park (home of the 2000 year old Sequoias), wineries, caverns, antiquing, shopping or hiking.

We love this place! It’s the 2nd time we’ve been here with our dogs. It’s safe for them on the raised & enclosed deck. Hubby loves the AC and the quietness of the area. Close enough to Murphys if you want to mosey downtown. It’s cozy and quiet and comfortable. We plan to return next year!

What a fantastic place! Super clean, beautifully remodeled, completely stocked with every amenity you might need, awesome deck, amazing sunsets... Excellent location if you enjoy sweeping panoramic views, no next-door neighbors, and don't mind a 10-minute drive into town along a back country road.

First of all this is not in Murphy’s. This is 20 minutes outside Murphy’s. Second, while this cabin may have beds for 6 people, we would not recommend it for any more than four (including dogs). We were disappointed by the cleaning before our arrival. There was food in the bottom of the fridge and freezer, and the floor was dirty, too.
