The Little Yellow Cottage is perfectly located in the heart of the historic downtown. It's next to the town park, creek and theater. This was the first vacation rental in Murphys...and has been a guest favorite for over 25 years! Enjoy dining in the private back garden gazebo, making smores over the wood fire pit, or enjoy a game of Cornhole with the family. This home is sure to provide dear memories of your visit to our area.

Please note that the 2nd bathroom has a clawfoot antique tub (no shower).

The property itself was great. The location was perfect. We booked it for next year. My only concern was that we thought there would be more room outside for dogs. We were surprised to find a note that the dog area was confined to a very small dog run with no light. Flashlight was fine - but my main concern was that grapevines were growing over the dog run area and the dog run was full of little grapes that had fallen. Grapes are toxic to dogs. I picked up what I could but there were so many. We ended up not being able to use the dog run and had to walk the dogs on a leash to the nearby park instead.

The little yellow cottage was perfect for a one night girls getaway. The backyard was so lovely with adirondack chairs for early morning coffee. We also used it as a backdrop for fun birthday photos. The location made it easy to walk into town for wine tasting, dinner and morning bakery run. We only wish we could have stayed two nights! Communications was great and the cottage was as described.

Very cute property. Went there with friend so the 2 bedroom 2 bath was perfect. Disappointed in the plumbing in the house. Faucet on the tub needs work, toilet in that bathroom has to be flushed numerous times, faucet handles throughout are backwards & confusing. Really goofy. You need a better plumber. Hair dryer in master needs replaced. These minor issues should be easily repaired.

Loved where this place was located. Just a hop skip and a jump to Main Street Murphy's. Walked everywhere. The place is on the old side, but it is very clean. The place did get a little toasty and we were told not to turn the thermostat down past 70. So it got a bit too warm for us. Otherwise, a good stay.

The little yellow cottage is perfect for a getaway to murphys. The location was perfect! The house was clean, the yard beautiful, and the beds very comfortable. We loved that the kitchen has everything we needed. We will definitely visit again!

This is a cute and comfortable little house. I would have preferred a king size bed in the main bedroom, and there is plenty of room for one, but other than that it was a good place to enjoy a few days in Murphys. Although we didn't use the backyard due to the heat and too many previous commitments, I would recommend allowing some time to enjoy the yard, fire-pit and dining pergola. I walk with a cane or walker and the location was an easy walk for me to get to downtown. This is important when you visit Murphys because parking is very limited. The managers were very responsive to our need and supplied what we requested early the next morning.

Came up for a 90th birthday with a lifelong friend of my mom's who's a local here. I originally loved that this was a dog-friendly home as I was potentially going to have to travel with mine. Was thrilled to discover that this place is in such a great spot; and just across the street and down from my father's former home. It was very cozy and comfortable. The owner/manager had pre-warmed the home for our arrival. As the temperature was at freezing that evening we greatly appreciated this! We will stay again!

This was our first time visiting Murphys, and we loved it. The Yellow Cottage was within walking distance to tasting rooms, shopping, and breakfast. The house was clean, and it had a relaxing backyard to enjoy a glass of wine. My husband and I will be staying here again.

Very nice and pretty cottage. Located walking distance to the park with a nice stream. Easy walking access to many good restaurants. Property itself is well maintained with all amenities. Did notice ants though . May want to consider some treatment. Overall stay was very pleasant and highly recommend anyone looking for a place to stay in Murphys

The cottage was charming, fully equipped,. Location was great - short walk to stream, park, and downtown with shops, restaurants, wine tastings. We loved it, could have easily stayed longer, and hated to leave. We will be back!
