Metro Apartments Dublin Airport

Comfortable and convenient. The apartment was spotlessly clean and a comfortable place to stay for our group and was in a convenient location. Very good for a one night stay.

Rooms are just that little bit tight and that was more noticeable in the very warm weather we were having. Also a bit on the expensive side for what you get, but then it is Dublin, so understandable too.

Immaculate, modern full apartment.

Nowhere to put a drink and a book beside my bed. Should install a drop down shelf. Bed too close to the wall my side. Window wouldn’t stay open in my Son’s room.

Location to the airport was convenient

The staff were incredible. Special shout out to the front desk staff and our shuttle driver. We had a 2 bedroom on the 14th floor. It was spacious, modern, and the views were incredible. The location also is excellent, close to the airport, grocery, and easy access to downtown or anywhere around. The beds were very comfortable.

Despite these positives, the place did not offer good value for $400+ a night. Everything is falling apart or feels one step away from doing so. The knob of the microwave kept falling off, making it difficult to use. The floor wooden planks have moved to expose gaps. Door stoppers are missing so heavy doors keep slamming shut. Walls have stuff marks all over. The beautiful counters have dents and paint is peeling off. The hallway outside was really hot and we thought it must be the sun, but on the final day we found two big holes in the wall and some vents had been removed so that had an issue. These are small irritants individually but as a set they make the place feel less than luxurious and not worth the money. For that one expects top quality and instead everything is cheap and low quality. The owners need to invest much more in upkeep and maintenance. It is clear staff were aware of the issues and would have liked to help with the microwave but could not. Also, for this price, it would be nice if breakfast is included. Overall not great value for money hence my 6 rating. My experience matches the 1 star reviews though I think 1 star is very harsh. It was a mixed experience that felt less than satisfying because of the wear and tear.
