Idyllic Provence stay for groups and families

The location in the heart of the vineyards was idyllic. We loved the space and the airy feel to the property. It was great having so many different outside spaces in which to relax, making it perfect for groups and families. The main outside lounge area was superb with a huge retractable(electric) shade that kept us cool. Michel our host was super helpful and kind and could not do enough for us but also didn’t intrude on our privacy. He was the perfect host. The house was well equipped and had everything we needed. The house was the perfect location at which to have a relaxing time, but it is also within close striking distance of many beautiful Provence villages and places of interest such as Gordes, Roussillon, the Palais des Papes at Avignon, le pont d’Avignon, l’arène de Nîmes, le pont du Gard etc. it is also very well situated for the TGV station at Avignon. In fact we fetched our friends from the TGV station who came down from Paris. They said it was a great journey - very quick from Paris to the heart of Provence in such a short time.

I expect it’s down to the location and can’t be helped but the internet was very poor and kept cutting off. This would not be a good place at which to work remotely because of this.

The steps between one of the rooms and the bathroom. the bath with the bathtub was not fit for seniors. Too slippery.

In the heart of Vacqueras a get-away from it all villa.

Michel is a wonderful host, friendly and helpful but not intrusive in any way. The spacious villa feels very secure and is not overlooked in any way. It is well placed for the lovely Provence villages which we wanted to visit. The furniture throughout the house is of a high quality and the modern kitchen is very well equipped for catering for 8 adults with ease. The aircon works very well.

We were particularly looking forward to using the swimming pool but the water temperature was not warm enough to make us rush to bathe. Added to that, we love to eat al fresco but were ambushed regularly by mosquitos, reducing our appetite for sitting outside. We enjoyed our stay, even if it wasn't quite perfect.

Home away from home

It was a wonderful place. This house was not just a house. It was a home. Lots of spacious rooms, a beautiful garden with a nice pool. It was located perfectly to visit all kind of different places in the area. Lots of good tips from the owners. And moreover there was this adorable cat that made our stay just perfect. Thank you Michel for an unforgettable stay!

La vétusté de certains équipements (piscine sans prise balai, lave vaisselle rouillé à l’intérieur, certaines salles de bain très vieilles, la climatisation très bruyantes même lorsqu’elle n’était pas allumée la nuit, …)

Très beau séjour, villa agréable et reposante.

Tout était parfait, villa bien située à proximité de plusieurs sites à découvrir. Villa dans un havre de paix, très bien entretenue, très propre, bien équipée, rien ne manqué. Propriétaires très sympathique et à nos petits soins. Je recommande les yeux fermés cet endroit.

Een schitterende plek om effe van de wereld te zijn met vlakbij leuke dorpjes en bezienswaardigheden

Enorm veel licht en veel ruimte, zowel binnen als buiten. In de keuken staat een heel grote Amerikaanse frigo met ijsblok maker. Dit geeft direct een vakantiegevoel! De ontvangst door de gastheer was zeer hartelijk.

Er is een groot zwembad dat echter niet verwarmd is, wat in april toch zorgt voor een heel frisse duik.
