We were lucky enough to spend a whole month at the Clos des Amis, with family and friends joining us for different weeks. The house is charming, very much a family house, full of quirky character, and has plenty of space for a large group. All the beds were particularly comfortable and there was excellent, quiet air-conditioning throughout for hot nights. The kitchen was very well equipped.
We loved the pool and the garden, with its apricot tree and rosemary bushes and scented jasmine. Our only comment - perhaps just us because we stayed so long - was that we would have liked more comfortable garden chairs to sit out and enjoy it even more.
The location was exactly what we wanted: St Didier isn't touristy but has a great market, two boulangeries, a little supermarket and a butcher all just up the road. There were a couple of fetes on while we were there (June) and the atmosphere was wonderful.
We did have a couple of teething problems with wifi and the fridge, but the owner was quick to sort out both, and Julia, the manager, was particularly helpful.

A perfect house in the heart of the village of St Didier for our family of 12 to enjoy a brilliant holiday. The house had lots of space, clean with plenty of bathrooms, tiled throughout, big Kitchen, air conditioning - everything we needed was there. All the family loved the beautiful swimming pool.

My group of 8 adults - family members and friends, thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this charming, large, and well-equipped home. All bedrooms were roomy and beds were comfortable; all bathrooms have been beautifully renovated. There are large, comfortable sitting areas in the home, to which one can escape for some solitude if needed. And the kitchen is a dream. The outside area is amazing, with a beautiful pool and sitting areas for relaxing and dining. And all along one side of the pool is a beautiful, aromatic herb garden! The home is well-located near the centre of the village so provided easy access to shops and restaurants.
We spent our time exploring the area, hanging out with the locals at the restaurants/pubs, sampling the cuisine that the village had to offer and enjoying croissants from the boulangerie around the corner on the main street. The village has a weekly open-air market with fantastic vendors and the local shops/produce market provide access to almost everything else you need to create wonderful meals in the large kitchen, complete with gas stove and every device and small appliance you could possibly need - even an immersion blender!
Three members of our group were cyclists and enjoyed the variety of beautiful roads in the area, including the climb up Mt Ventoux. Several of us also loved exploring the roads and trails by foot, taking beautiful pictures of the surrounding area. If you need a larger town for any reason, Pernes-les-Fontaines is just up the road. And for a short side trip, Venasque is definitely worth a visit. The town is charming to wander through and Le Petit Chose is a great place for lunch with a spectacular view.
Two restaurants we especially loved were Regalia (the owner is lovely and welcoming and the food was fantastic) and Côte Cours (more upscale). I believe the name of the bakery/boulangerie from which we purchased our breakfast croissants, baguettes and other treats every day is called La Fournée.
Owner Sébastien is accommodating and helpful but does not live in the area. Property contact Michèle is lovely and lives right next door, but only speaks French so if you don't have a francophone in the group, have google translate ready. It wasn't a problem for us as most of us had enough French to make ourselves understood, and two of our group were fluent.
Overall, we would highly recommend this wonderful home. We will always have great memories of our stay here, and hope to return some day.

A wonderful house with LOTS of room. Very well refurbished with a great "gourmet" kitchen, and three very nice bathrooms, one on each floor, and excellent beds on the 1st & 2nd floors. The pool was clean and inviting, the manager welcoming, and the house in perfect order when we arrived. (You might want to bring some bath soap, and dishwasher soap and maybe a knife sharpener.) We were 5 and there was plenty of hot water. Good location for the bakery, the small grocery, and the garden is filled with a variety of fresh herbs. The grocery had excellent fruits and vegetables. We'd stay here again.

We (two families) had a wonderful stay in Sabastien’s villa. The house is cool, clean and spacious with a beautiful pool and a garden full of herbs. The neighbour is on hand to deal with any issues but we had no problems. St Didier is a charming village with a handful of bars and restaurants. A wonderful base to explore Provence.

A very nice place to spend a week. The villa is easily large enough for 12 people and has a good combination of old world charm and modern facilities.
Excellent kitchen and bathrooms and spacious bedrooms and a beautiful high ceilinged lounge on the second floor.
There is also a very nice clean pool and a garage which we used to store the 10 bikes we had for our cycling holiday.
St Didier itself is a lovely village and has a couple of small supermarkets, 3 bakeries, a butcher and a few restaurants and cafes.
Everything is within easy walking distance. The nougat shop is worth a visit.
Sebastien, the owner, was a pleasure to deal with and always answered any emails promptly.
Highly recommended and would certainly consider another visit in the near future.

Nous avons passé une superbe semaine . La maison est magnifique très très bien équipée ce qui est rare ds les locations et de très bon goûts . Extrêmement bien placée . Un bonheur d’avoir une si belle maison a deux pas du village . La région est magnifique. Le seule truc à dire c’est un peu dommage de perdre une journée car nous arrivons qu’à 17h et devons partir avant 10h mais vue la grandeur de la maison le ménage est long . En tout cas une belle semaine avec des enfants en bas âge et des amis dc maison parfaite a tout point de vue qui nous donne envie de relouer cette maison l’été prochain . Cordialement

Nous avons passé une superbe semaine dans cette charmante maison ! Spacieuse, très bien équipée (vie quotidienne + loisirs), idéalement située par rapport aux nombreux sites touristiques à ne pas manquer dans la région, et proche de toutes les commodités par sa situation centrale dans le village de Saint-Didier, le clos des amis est un lieu de villégiature idéal pour passer des vacances en famille et entre amis ! A signaler aussi le parfait accompagnement des propriétaires dans la réservation et l’accueil sympathique de Michèle. Nous avons donc passé une semaine parfaite a 2 familles (4 adultes et 5 enfants) et reviendront probablement l’an prochain, peut être accompagné d’une 3ème famille :)

„Le Clos des amis“ ist die perfekte Unterkunft für eine Gruppe bis ca. 14 Personen. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Der Pool ist super, die Lage im Ort optimal, um zu Fuß zum Bäcker, Metzger, Spar oder auf den Markt in St. Didier zu gelangen. Das Haus ist sehr hochwertig ausgestattet, angefangen vom Paul-Bocuse-Herd, über die Bäder bis hin zu den Zimmern.

Das Haus ist sehr geräumig und bietet für die verschiedensten Zusammensetzungen von Familien (Großfamilie / Familien mit kleinen Kindern oder nur Erwachsene) ausreichend Platz, um sich auszuruhen, und seine Freiräume zu finden. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und alle mit Stauplatz in Schränken oder Kommoden ausgestattet. Das große Wohnzimmer im ersten Stock ist ein echter Blickfang und Rückzugsort. Die Küche mit dem Paul-Bocuse-Herd und 4 Gasplatten sowie Arbeitsblock in der Mitte lässt selbst bei Kochorgien die Herzen höher schlagen. Der Pool ist groß und auch tief, so dass man richtig schwimmen und nicht nur planschen kann. Der Garten rund um den Pool ist ein wenig verwunschen und bietet Sonnen- und Schattenplätze in ausreichender Zahl. Insgesamt ist das Haus erheblich schöner, als die Fotos es hoffen lassen, und die Beschreibung der Ausstattung ist zu 100% korrekt. Wenn es überhaupt etwas zu beanstanden gibt, dann, dass die Parkplatzsituation etwas eingeschränkt ist. Aber das lässt sich alles lösen. Das Haus liegt fußläufig von den Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in St Didier entfernt, montags ist ein schöner lokaler Markt, dessen Besuch sich absolut lohnt. Bäcker, Metzger und zwei Gemischtwarenläden mit frischem Obst und Gemüse sind am Ort, sowie mehrere Cafés und Restaurants. Alles andere lässt sich mühelos mit dem Auto erreichen. Insgesamt ein toller Urlaub.

Une maison tout confort, spacieuse et très chaleureuse. Très appréciable d'être au coeur du village pour profiter à pieds du marché hebdo, des cours de tennis, des commerces de proximité. Les enfants ont particulièrement apprécié le babyfoot, les nombreuses BD et le piano. Excellent accueil des propriétaires avec une délicate attention pour nous souhaiter la bienvenue. Nous reviendrons et recommandons vivement cette maison.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans la maison du clos des amis. Elle est très adaptée à des vacances en famille : très bien équipée, piscine, babyfoot, bibliothèque avec plein de BD...Située dans un village avec tous les commerces : boulangeries, boucherie, petite épicerie, journaux, petits restaurants, bars...La dame présente sur place a su nous aider quand besoin était.

Wir waren zwei Familien mit drei Kindern und einer Grossmutter, die zusammen etwas mehr als eine Woche in diesem schönen Haus verbringen durften. Empfangen wurden wir von Madame Guerin, die uns während des Aufenhalts herzlich und unkompliziert zur Seite stand, wenn Fragen auftauchten. Das Haus liegt etwas zurückversetzt an der Haupstrasse, eingebettet in einem sympatischen Dorf, in dem wir schnell mit den Menschen ins Gespräch kamen. Das Einkaufen in den Bäckereien, in der Metzgerei und die in den beiden Lebensmittelläden waren jedesmal besondere Erlebnisse und das Dorf bietet alles, was es im Alltag braucht. Sogar einen Markt gibt es jeden Montag. Wir haben selber gekocht und gegrillt, assen aber auch im Dorf und es war herrlich. Rund ums Haus gibt es viel Platz, sodass man in Ruhe in der grossen, hauseigenen Comicsammlung lesen kann, während andere auf dem Klavier musizieren, und weitere rund um den Swimmingpool herum spielen. Die Gegend rund um St. Didier eigenet sich zum Wandern, aber natürlich auch um die vielen kleinen und grösseren Ortschaften zu besuchen. Mit leichter Wehmut sind wir zurückgekehrt und können das Haus von Herzen weiter empfehlen.

Nous avons séjourné pendant deux semaines dans cette maison. Nous l'avons trouvé très adaptée pour les groupes avec ses beaux volumes et ses 6 chambres. Cuisine très fonctionnelle, extérieur très agréable, le salon, son coin BD et son baby-foot ont aussi beaucoup plu. La maison est située dans le village, on peut donc aller au marché ou à la boulangerie à pieds. Beaucoup de ballades possibles, villages à visiter ou activité à pratiquer autour de la maison.

Nous étions 3 familles pendant notre séjour et la maison était parfaite pour nous : chacun son étage et sa tranquillité mais aussi de grandes pièces communes adaptées à notre groupe. La terrasse ombragée est très agréable et permet de rester dehors même avec les fortes chaleurs.
La maison est très bien entretenue, très propre et la décoration très soignée, les matériaux sont de très bonne qualité, la cuisine est fonctionnelle et bien équipée pour les familles nombreuses. La piscine est également très propre.
Le gros plus pour nous a été la situation : la maison est au cœur du village : nous avons donc pu faire toutes nos courses à pied et éviter le supermarché ( quel plaisir !), en plus , les commerçants sont très avenants . Plusieurs restaurants dans la rue principale.
Merci à Mr Lombard qui a pris le temps de nous téléphoner avant notre départ pour organiser notre séjour.
Bref, tout est maîtrisé en amont pour que vous n'ayez plus qu'à profiter de vos vacances !

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour en famille au mois d'aout 2016. La maison est très belle et très accueillante et conforme à la description de l'annonce, très spacieuse avec 6 grandes chambres dont 1 dortoir . Les salles de bain sont immenses. Tout était dans un parfait état, literie impeccable.
La maison est idéalement située au centre du village et à proximité des commerces et des nombreuses visites à faire dans les environs, avec le mont Ventoux en arrière-plan.
Nous avons particulièrement apprécié l'accueil très chaleureux, les dîners sur la terrasse, mais aussi les les équipements (piscine, barbecue, équipement bébé), une extraordinaire collection de BD, un piano, des livres, etc.
Au final, que du positif, et nous ne pouvons que recommander cette location.

Des propriétaires disponibles, attentionnés et souples, un accueil humain et chaleureux, une maison décorée avec goût, fonctionnelle, au calme, sans vis à vis et qui permet tout de même de profiter des commerces de proximité à pieds.... Bref petits et grands, nous avons vraiment tous passé le séjour que nous projetions et nous vous recommandons vivement le Clos des Amis....

"Het huis biedt alle comfort om de vakantie door te brengen. Is ook voorzien voor kindjes (bedje, verhoogde stoel, eetgerei, afsluiting zwembad). Elke kamer is voorzien van airco wat wel nodig is tijdens de zomer. Er is een wasmachine voorzien die makkelijk te bedienen is. Enkel de kiezelsteentjes aan het terras zijn niet zo handig. Het zwembad is met een gemetste instaptrap wat makkelijk was voor de kinderen. Het is wel een vrij diep bad. Het terrein aan het huis is goed afgesloten wat handig was voor de kinderen. Het huis is zeer ruim en biedt zeker plaats aan verschillende gezinnen, wel rekening houden dat het geluid overal hoorbaar is.
De omgeving is typische Provence. Het is een rustige buurt waar geen hinder is van rumoer. Gevestigd in een klein dorpje met op wandelafstand de restaurants, kleine supermarkt, cremerie en bakker. Op 10 minuten zijn er grootwarenhuizen en andere winkels.
Vanuit Saint-Didier is het makkelijk om andere dorpjes te bereiken en te bezoeken. Het is een mooie omgeving en zeker een aanrader."
