Lovely little cottage.

Cottage was lovely. Ideal base for some walking we had planned. Plenty of utensils etc. Beds very comfy! Overall a great experience.

Downstairs hall lights very dull at night. Cottage was cold & we used a lot of kindling to try & keep fire going. We found a mat for standing on in the bath. I'm quite small so would imagine difficult for less mobile,children to climb in & out.

Perfect location for the cairngorms and a cosy little cottage to come back to.

Excellent location, and a well stocked kitchen with lots of extras. Loved the fire in the living room and the main bedroom bed was extremely comfy!

Fridge could have been a little bigger as we struggled to fit everything in. Property was very cold on arrival, heating maybe needs putting on beforehand or needs updating.

Lovely house in a fab location.

Wonderful house for our stay. Very comfortable living room & beds. Excellent location for exploring the area.

Only down side of the house was the shower. No more than a trickle and with long hair I ended up washing it in the bath.

Good property for price

Good property for the money and good location. Generally comfortable and okay amenities.

Not enough hot water to fill the bathtub. Shower head could do with being replaced. The cooker was old but not a concern for us as didn't use. Only a small fridge with a tiny freezer compartment but just okay for us. No real outdoor space - Only a small landing with some chairs covered in bird poo that you had to access through steep stairs that was overgrown as outdoor space not maintained. Only one toilet roll provided for the 4 of us for 6 nights but plenty of towels provided. Note that third bedroom is on ground floor.

A cosy, homely, clean visit.

We loved the open fire, the comfy beds and sofa, the WiFi and the little extras like salt, washing up liquid etc so we didn’t need to buy too much. We liked the central location to lots of interesting places.

We would have really appreciated a tumble dryer as clothes took a long time to dry, and it would have helped to have radiators (not just the plug ins) in every room to help keep it all warm.

Everything we needed in the kitchen was there and was very clean and tidy. Would recommend this house if your going to Scotland.

A convenient base for the touristy things we wanted to do.

Good location for walking and visiting places. Aviemore is just up the road.

Enjoyed our stay and if the couple of issues ie keys and fridge were addressed we wouldn't hesitate

We loved the cosy feel to the cottage. The log burner was well used after some lovely long walks around the surrounding area. The kitchen was fairly well equipped with pots/ pans and dishes etc.

Only one set of keys - Another set of keys would be useful, or at least a lockbox so we could go out separately. Tiny fridge with a small freezer compartment that was not working properly - A large fridge freezer would make all the difference for people wanting to cook and not have to go shopping every day.

The kid loved it and we liked it too in particular the fireplace.

i liked the character of the property and it is in a nice building in quite a good location. the kids loved the place. The keys were easy to pick up (arranged via wassap)

It is a very lovely property however I think that the owner is not fully making the most of the property as a rental and that it requires some upgrades both practical (add a dishawasher, fix heaters and lights that don't work) and aesthetical improvements (new genuine wooden floor in lounge). I also think that they should better prepare it for renting (i.e. remove clutter and clean to a higher level). That being said we didn't mind. If the owner did improve those things they would get better reviews.

Super gezellig en net huis.

Accommodatie kan er niks aan doen, maar het huis zit aan een drukke weg waar ondanks de maximum snelheid heel hard wordt gereden.
