Seapoint - a great place to stay.

Beautiful, well appointed apartment in an excellent location between the promenade and restaurant / shopping area of Regent St, Seapoint. Seapoint was a really handy location to be. A nice balance away from the built-up area of Cape Town and the super touristy waterfront and beach areas The views of the ocean through all the windows as we walked through the door always put a smile on our faces. Second bathroom was great for two couples. The apartment had everything we needed for our stay and the living area was really spacious

The ensuite bathroom was not very private. The use of frosted glass would make a huge difference to the level of privacy. The second bedroom was really small in comparison to the main one, which was only an issue because we were two couples travelling together.

Beautiful 2 bedroom apartment with stunning views of the water

A beautiful well appointed apartment with stunning views of the water and sunset. The main bedroom is enormous with a gorgeous ensuite and deep oval bath. The day bed in front of the window is divine! The property is very secure, quiet - especially at night, 5 minute walk to good supermarkets and a few shops and cafes. The allocated carpark is a few meters from the entry with direct ground floor access to the apartment. The apartment complex is across the road from the walking/running beachfront path that hugs the coastline for many kilometres in each direction. The path is safe and there are cafes dotted along the away. Clifton beaches and Saunders Rock beach with a sea pool are an easy walk (avoid Queens and sunset beach across the road from the apartment). The self check in process was awesome!

Australian credit cards on booking.com accounts are often declined in Africa due to the fees/charges. This happened with our booking while we were on safari in Namibia. Our payment problems were enhanced due to limited or no connectivity, and every payment method we tried failed. I suggest prepaying everything before leaving Aus. Fortunately we had family in Cape Town who paid this booking for us. The apartment complex is in a slightly less desirable part of Sea Point but it's half the price of similar places 100 metres up the road. The beach directly across the road is awful, so walk to the left and you will find some of the most beautiful/safe beaches in CT.

A Perfect Getaway in Cape Town!

A Perfect Getaway in Cape Town! This vacation apartment met all our expectations! From the moment we arrived, the hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful, providing clear instructions and going above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. The apartment itself is beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean, and fully equipped with everything we needed—from a well-stocked kitchen and high-quality appliances; washing machine, dish washing machine and cozy living areas. Every function of the home was well thought out and easy to use, making it incredibly convenient. One big plus was the abundance of power outlets and adapters available throughout the apartment, which made charging devices super convenient. The location is also a huge advantage. There are great restaurants, gelato shop, and a supermarket just a short walk away, which made our stay even more convenient. One of the highlights was the sea view and sunset from wide screen window and quiet surroundings—perfect for unwinding and relaxing. If you’re looking for a well-managed, peaceful, and fully equipped home base in Cape Town, this is a fantastic choice. We would love to return in the future!

A couple of minor downsides to mention: • The Wi-Fi was a bit slow at times. • The location pin provided on Booking.com didn’t exactly match the real location of the apartment, which caused some confusion. We had to reach out directly to the host for clarification. • The mattress in the main bedroom was noticeably sagging in the middle, which unfortunately led to some back discomfort after 7 nights sleeping. That said, these were small issues in an otherwise amazing stay.

Beautiful views

The view from the apartment was amazing. Watching the waves and the sunset over the ocean was incredible. It is located within walking distance from awesome restaurants as well as shops to buy basic necessities. The apartment was well equiped with every thing we needed and more for our stay.

Perfect! Amazing views and so comfortable

This was our favorite accommodation during our entire South African trip! The view from the apartment is stunning, and it is so comfortable and relaxing. We loved the extra details like a milk frother, as well as the convenience of laundry in the unit as well. It is extremely well located- easy to walk to groceries, run along the seafront, and centrally located to drive to other sights in the area. We would love to stay again and do not hesitate to recommend!

The view from the windows to the sea!!

A small issue. On the pictures on booking.com you see that you are able to open all the windows, what gives you a balcony feeling. We were not able to open these windows in a proper way, De lady who cleaned the house had also problems with opening the windows, she said especially with the second window pane. So she could not help us with this. She told us that she would pass a message to the host, but we received no reaction from the host. But overall we loved this apartment.

A beautiful property to spend some holiday time in.

Beautiful accommodation! What caught our attention was the huge corner window with the view of the ocean. It's just as amazing in real life. We were worried that we would have to drag our luggage up flights of stairs, but to our pleasant surprise the property is on the ground floor. We then noticed that there actually is an elevator. The accommodation was good for us as it was close to local restaurants which we walked over to, and close to other places which we either drove to or had no problem catching an uber for. It's well equipped if you want to stay in and cook a meal or even just to have a cup of coffee. There is also a washing machine if you have any laundry to do. The living area is a dream. So open and spacious.

We have found that some facilities were created for taller people. Whilst I believe myself to be of average height, anyone shorter would need help getting to things such as the cupboards in the kitchen and the shelves in the bathroom. Also, small gripe, the bedrooms do not have any bedside tables.

Good relaxing flat with some minor issues. The agent’s performance was poor but didn’t ruin our stay.

The views are superb. The kitchen and seating area very good and very relaxing. The location is at the very end of Sea Point, which was fine with a good local vibe. The second bedroom is small and I wouldn’t recommend the flat for two couples, but could see it working for a family with younger kids.

There is a single portable air conditioning machine which is not the same as an air conditioned flat. Though the ceiling and portable fans meant it was not an issue for us. The clear glass in the en suite bathroom was not exactly to our taste. Our arrival wasn’t great with the agent’s representative sitting at the gate not acknowledging us as she didn’t have the keys. We were eventually let into the parking, and explained how it worked, by one of the other owners/tenants who was concerned we would block the parking for other tenants. When the agent’s representative finally acknowledged us, and let us into the property, she didn’t explain the air conditioning situation, and we had to ask how the portable unit worked. There was washing still hanging to dry and we had to ask her to store the washing away. Also the deposit was not refunded without a lot of chasing. After a few days of chasing I was finally called by the agent’s owner / senior manager who apologised profusely and explaining it was due to junior new staff. Bottom line is flat is very relaxing but the agent’s performance was poor. We also noticed we think we could have paid less if we had shopped around better.

Great apartment, great location

The apartment itself is very comfortable and has all you need to relax. Kitchen is great, appliances top notch and TV/Netflix is a nice touch. The building also is very well taken care of and couldn’t be better located, with easy access to the Promenade and to Regent Street

Second bedroom doesn’t have an external window (it’s to the corridor), so needs to be permanently closed for privacy and makes the space a bit dark. But comfortable and spacious.

Great location, decent place to stay

All in all a good place with a great location and lots of space. A few things could have been better at this price but all in all I'd stay here again.

Although not bad, there are a few thing to improve if guests are expected to pay these rates: If there are 2+ people staying, it would be helpful to have more than one set of keys between us. The fabric on the furniture is old and stained, making the lounge a place where you don't really want to relax Provide better quality toiletries, it feels as if the bottles have been refilled The floor is extremely slippery and may be a hazard to guests
