Definitely Recommend

Amazing location just 5 min walk to shoreline with views out the window. The hot tub and sauna were so lovely. The communal bathroom was perfect and clean with really powerful showers. Also the communal kitchen had everything you would need.

Beautiful, relaxing and enjoyable

An amazing place. The grounds are beautiful. The houses were spacious and clean. The hot tub was perfect and the views. Harry and Cheryl were very helpful with information and very accommodating. There was a pitch with a football net for the kids and beautiful play swings and slides. I cannot wait to go back in warmer weather to spend more time on the grounds. Highly recommended!

Fantastic Lodge/Village, definitely would stay again (hopefully with some better weather).

My family were in need of a little R&R and somewhere out of the road to do it. This place was beautiful. The Primrose lodge we stayed in was fantastic. It was modern, clean and all modern amenities we would have expected. It was warm and the kids had a great time staying here. Good kids park in the place as well.We stayed 2 nights and enjoyed a little walk along the rocky beach and my kids picked up some shells and rocks to take home. Good wifi in the house and TV had netflix and disney etc. (use own log in). The hot tubs and sauna looked the part but we didnt get a chance to get in with all the rain! If you go for a run/walk, there is a dog if you go right who was not best pleased with me and followed me to the end of that road- best to go back up main road if you want a quick 5k etc without dog escort :)

Very very little to dislike. Typical Donegal Weather! nothing the owners can do about it. A gazebo/pergola over the hot tubs might be a nice addition in future. Alternatively a hot tub inside?

Absolutely gorgeous place and scenery, super safe and good value. We stayed in the bell tent which was spacious and comfortable. Communal facilities and hot tubs were great.

Had use of the sauna and hot tub, pick the time you wanted and which hot tub you wish to use.

Can’t fault anything about the property clean, spotless only thing was some people didn’t obey quiet time. That owner was on hand and helpful in any way possible.

Great stay at Oakwell Holiday Village

Lovely scenic location within short drive to nearby town of Ramelton (circa 7/10mins away). Clean and modern facilities. Ideal for families with playground and soccer pitch. The Owner Harry was on hand to answer any queries and replied promptly. Communal hot tub and sauna was great. Highly recommend. Many thanks Harry and team.

Excellent accommodation with a relaxed family atmosphere in a beautiful location.

This place is amazing! The facilities are incredible - really clean and well maintained. The views are beautiful and the location is peaceful without being remote. We stayed in a bell tent and it was so comfortable, and each tent had its own picnic bench, seating and barbecue. The toilets and showers were really modern and clean and the hot tubs were so lovely! The kitchen facilities were excellent and because a lot of the lodges have their own kitchens, it was never too busy. Harry, the host, was helpful, welcoming and friendly and was available without being too close all the time. We will most definitely go back there.

There's nothing I would change about the place, I loved everything about it. If I had to find something I would say it would be great to have separate recycling bins, and also a little storage box outside the tent (to keep cooking equipment etc) would be a bonus so that the tent didn't get too cluttered.
