Lovely house in a beautiful location
Great location. Just off the highway and easy to get to the beach, Pisa and other parts of Tuscany. Fantastic little house overlooking an olive orchard and has everything you need (also near a supermarket, 10 min walk or 2 min drive). We loved the pool, the washing machine and the equipped kitchen. The host was great - really friendly, very customer-oriented and she did everything she could to make our stay relaxed and stress-free.
The village is near a body of still water - there are a lot of mosquitoes (including the tiger mosquitoes) so you need to come prepared (but you can get stuff at the supermarket.)

A place with great potential, poorly managed
The apartment is functional, the kitchen is spacious, TV in the living room and in the bedrooms. The pool is perfect for 3 people, but the bathroom and shower on the patio should be kept and cleaned much much better. The fantastic view
A place with great potential, poorly managed. No one greeted us upon our arrival. The lights were off from the main switch, the WI FI didn't work (it didn't work for the whole stay) and there was no hot water(the morning after they come to fix it and they found a nest of owls inside the boiler) . Cleaning should be done better..., Shortly after we arrived, a gentleman showed up to go to the olive grove. The next morning we were woken up at 6:30 by the lawn mower, the second morning the same thing at 6:45 am.. shortly thereafter some gentlemen arrived with a wrecker to remove a car and in the afternoon the cleaning lady that entered without even saying hi in a part of the house that no one had explained to me was in common with the other apartment ,we see for 2 days people come and go without anyone inform us about anything!!! the justification we are in the countryside doesn't exist, I manage 50 apartments in Florence, I travel a lot and I love to stay in the countryside and never happened that I was woken up at 6.30am in the morning and that anyone could enter when he wanted on the property, the pedestrian gate is always open!!!! If you decide to rent a house you have to realize that certain things you can't or insert it in the description so that everyone can freely choose whether to be bothered at any time and paying for it! I pay to have peace and relax, not people who come and go every hour without anyone notifying me and being woken up at 6!
