Guest House Nishijin Yui

It is a very nice and cosy apartment in a residential area. It has everything you need, the kitchen is well equipped and everything is well thought for you. The owner had left various information leaflets for tourists for the city, which helped a lot. They (owners) were easy to reach, although we didn't really need anything, there was everything! The apartment gives you the feeling that you are in a real Japanese house and we liked it a lot! The bedrooms upstairs were comfortable and we also liked the futon bed! We appreciated the washing machine and the small sofa to watch tv! The neighbourhood was quiet and felt safe (we traveled with our 5-year old child).

It is a little bit far from main attractions, but the city is big either way, so it is not easy to find an accommodation near to everything. We used UBER a lot and it worked perfectly!

Close to buses but not to subway or train. A bit far from downtown. But still very much like the place and felt like I was actually staying in Kyoto.

It was on of the best places where I stayed in all my life! There are everything you could need: shampoo, tooth brush - everything. The host even left bottled water and tea and packages of rice for us to have something to eat first day in the evening. Everything in the apartment was clean and everything worked. Getting to the place is quite easy too: there are 1 or 2 straight buses from the Kyoto station and it is great! Getting to attractions won't cause any trouble too. You can just walk to the Kinkaku-ji, the Nijo castle and Kyoto imperial palace. For other attractions you can use bus. The district is really quiet, but you can find 2 7/11 shops and several other grocery stores around. Furthermore, there quite enough places to eat out near by. The host left a lot of information about activities and places of Kyoto in the apartment, so even if you didn't know there to go before coming to the place you can find something for yourself. All I want to say to the host is "Thank you for the perfect staying! I hope I will have an opportunity to stay in this apartment in the future. "
