Dissatisfied

I believed it was with breakfast but it was not. I had no Wi-Fi. My room was in the annexe and there was only 1 toilet roll provided for 3 days and 1 set of towels for the duration. No staff seen on-site when needed to ask for anything. The room was not cleaned in the 3 days.

Do not stay at this hotel as the Manager is rude and greedy and it does not feel safe.

Good location to the centre of town and amazing view.

We were shocked that this Hotel Manager did not give the main gate location of the hotel to our coach driver who then subsequently received a traffic ticket. We had disabled members in our party and it was too far for them to walk up the hill and the hotel could have helped but they did not want to. Not enough toilet paper. No kettles in the room. Basic breakfast. We missed breakfast on two days which we had pre-paid for as we attended early Mass and we had written to ask the Manager if he could provide breakfast a bit earlier or a bit later but he never wrote back to us and refused POINT BLANK to give us a refund for the breakfasts we never ate on the last two mornings. A greedy rude manager who is not a credit to beautiful Assisi.

Bad experience

Just the area really but even it is not the perfect location.

There was only hot water sometimes during our stay. Most of the staff at reception were constantly upset and unhelpful, except for one young man who was kind and genuinely tried to assist us. We were charged the city tax twice, and the reception was only open for a few hours each day. For three days, they did not provide enough shower gel or soap. The room was extremely cramped — if you wanted to open the wardrobe, you had to move the bed, and there wasn’t even a chair to sit on. Considering the conditions, the price was far from cheap.

The hotel didn’t deliver the facilities - hair dryer, cleanliness, service - as advertised

We booked a triple economy but was given a twin bed and when we challenged the staff only then were we put to a triple room, but in the annex, an uncovered walk to another part of the compound. The beds were not made with blankets and we were only given two bath towels. There was no hair dryer in the room although it said it should be available

The service was really bad. When we asked for a room change, we were treated with aggression. The vanity unit was right by the toilet seat which could easily hit the head. The second night the water in the shower was lukewarm. There were insects in the room and on the blanket. No hair dryer nor a kettle, not even a communal one, was a big problem. The internet wasn’t working in any rooms except in the reception.

Great location, incredible surrounding, staff and premises need some betterment

The property is located on a great spot at walking distance from the old city, parking in the premises which is great for travellers with car. The surroundings full of olive trees is marvelous and the view of the valley incredible. We had one double room at the main house and one quadruple at the anex in the basement. My recommendation, try to stay always in the main house. Avoid the anex. The thing that most bothered us, nomad workers, is that wifi was advertised in all the premises, house and anex. Wifi at the house was week at the anex non existance. When I went to complain at the reception was very indiferently treated by a lady that said "wifi was broken" and there is nothing she could do about it. The anex , she said was an old property and there was no wifi. Then , I said , you should not advertise a fake information. She just shruged. We were not very happy. I would say the staff are not very friendly.

I would pay half of what we did for this quality.

The main building looked nice and the olive grove of the property was a beautiful setting. The ample land allowed for free parking and the short 10-minute walk up the hill to the centre of Assisi was fantastic.

The basement room that we were given trapped a lot of heat and humidity, on which the tiny bathroom extractor fan had no effect. There was a store room attached to the bedroom that housed a pile of mouldy mattresses and copious amounts of dust and fluff, which even crept out through the room's doors. There was one window that was too high to reach. On the windowsill, there was more dust and tens of dead wasps. We found a large wasps nest on the outside of the window that we desperately needed to open for fresh air. Our room was the only one with a broken mosquito net. We couldn't remove the nest from outside because of a metal grill so we had to improvise with some things from our car. The bathroom was mostly fine other than some grimy water in the toothbrush pot and an unsuitable toilet roll holder, off which the toilet roll would fall every time we tore a piece off. The beds were uncomfortable and the room was ugly but I actually didn't care so much about that because we were only ever going to stay there one night. My last gripe is that we had to pay €15 for having a dog because of "extra cleaning" - you either clean a room or you don't; what difference would a dog make? My dog stayed in the same spot under the bed all night and didn't poop anywhere on the property and yet I had to pay extra for it.

Basic accommodations but serene location and friendly hosts.

Loved the hosts. They were warm and friendly. They accommodated us with whatever we needed. The breakfast was amazing! There was a language barrier however the host was very good at using the translator. The place is quiet and peaceful. Walking distance to St. Francis Basilica. Great views.

No WiFi in the guest house. You have to go to the main house to it. The walls were bare so it could have used a colorful picture to brighten it a little.

The olive garden seclusion was nice from the business of the city.

Communication with the staff and huge pain to get not only in but out. The staff demanded the key that opens the gate after they agreed to hold our luggage after check out and we had to wait too long to get in AND out without the key after calling 3-4 times and waiting of a total of about 40 minutes when we had a train. We were also told that someone would be at the desk to buzz us in. Instead we had to wait for the manager to come from town with his car to let us back in to pick up our luggage. And he didn’t allow us to eat in the common area where you check in nor where they have breakfast (which is understandable-at least the breakfast area) so we ate outside. There is no WiFi where you sleep just where you check in.

Not a hotel!

Nice farm like location but not what you think it is.

This is totally mis represented by Bookings dot com as the highest rated most expensive room available at the time. It’s NOT a hotel. It’s a convent, friary, for religious retreat. No AC no Wi-Fi. Totally unexpected. Misleading.

The location was convenient with easy access to the lower part of Assisi. With a view over the valley and a quiet atmosphere amidst the olive groves, it was a perfect retreat.

The gates were confusing at first, but then I got the hang of it and it was an easy in and out with a space to park my car at no extra cost.

Bellissimo fine settimana ad Assisi

Il posto e' molto bello, vicino al centro, 10 minuti a piedi, allo stesso tempo fuori dalla citta' per godersi il silenzio e lo splendido panorama della campagna circostante e della basilica di S.Francesco. Personale gentile e parcheggio disponibile.

Potrebbero essere rinnovati un pochino i bagni e le luci da comodino, magari per la colazione offrire anche prodotti fatti in casa.

Todo bien, si tomar en cuenta que si no tiene transporte y no quieren pagar por taxi hay que caminar un poco de cuesta para llegar al hospedaje, sin embargo en Asís todo es de muchas calles empinadas.

Camera effettivamente troppo spartana, il bagno ( non previsto dalle foto ) era per disabili e era impossibile farsi la doccia senza allagare il bagno. WiFi inesistente.

Una location splendida che necessiterebbe maggiore cura e attenzione

La posizione splendida e anche la struttura esternamente con un ampio giardino. Buon rapporto prezzo/qualita'

Le camere non erano pulite, le coperte in dotazione e i muri macchiati. Il riscaldamento non funzionava e l'acqua calda era troppo tiepida in una delle 3 camere la prima notte: la seconda notte il problema si e' fortunatamente risolto una volta avvisato lo staff. Nell'ultima notte una seconda stanza non aveva il riscaldamento e l'acqua calda visto che i termosifoni non funzionavano e quello del bagno se aperto in una valvola perdeva acqua. Con piccoli accorgimenti e un po' di manutenzione preventiva i disguidi potrebbero ridursi. Il tutto e' stato segnalato alla direzione che, si spera, prenderà le necessarie azioni.....

Myślę, że jeśli znowu będziemy w Asyżu, to ponownie wybierzemy ten hotel.

Śniadanie podstawowe w stylu włoskim. Doskonała kawa. Parking prywatny przy samym hotelu. Teren wokół zamykany na noc. Najważniejsze: lokalizacja. Hotel znajduje się pośród gaju oliwnego z pięknym widokiem na stary Asyż, który zachwyca zarówno w dzień, jak i w nocy, kiedy stare miasto jest oświetlone latarniami. Tak, lokalizacja nadrabia za inne mankamenty, bo pieszo blisko do najważniejszych miejsc. Pomimo małego pokoju, słabego oświetlenia, czy spartańskich łóżek i tak chętnie tam wrócimy, bo hotel ma ciekawy klimat. Dodam, że nie oczekiwaliśmy luksusu i spodziewaliśmy, że będzie tak, jak było, zatem nie byliśmy zawiedzeni.

La posizione della struttura vicina alla cittá.

Non mi è piaciuto niente sinceramente. Non ci ritornerei in quella struttura e non la consiglierei nemmeno. Orribile esperienza e maltrattata in tutto. Al loro posto, avrei ridato i soldi indietro al cliente. Per fortuna sono stata fuori gran parte del tempo da quella struttura.

A localização é próxima a basílica, mas o hotel fica escondido e o mapa do Google que o booking mostra não tem pontos de referência que facilitem a localização. Os motoristas de taxis não queriam nos conduzir quando iniciou a noite. Devem montar um mapa que informe como chegar. O telefone também foi alterado e não atendia. O Wi-Fi só funciona na recepção. O banheiro não tem secador de cabelos. Muito barulho durante a noite.

Weekend di pace

Struttura immersa nel verde, in un contesto davvero incantevole. A due passi dal centro storico, raggiungibile a piedi. Possibilità di parcheggio gratuito.

Essendo un ex seminario, le camere sono piccole e semplici. Questo aspetto lo trovo comunque in linea con un luogo come Assisi, meta di viaggio spirituale. Personalmente, avrei gradito da parte dello staff qualche consiglio/suggerimento rispetto ai luoghi d'interesse da visitare, fornire una mappa del centro, ecc... Un appunto che sicuramente non toglie credito al soggiorno!
