Wanderlust Malaga Apartamentos 2

Accommodation was easy to find and the host gave instructions on how to access the lock box to get the key to the apartment. The location was excellent with shops and restaurants literally on the door step. We enjoyed sitting on the baloney to watch the hussle and bussle of the people go by. Apartment was spotless and very clean.

Little bit of noise in the evenings but didn't affect our sleep.

Stunning! Central location and well equipped!

Comfortable mattress, beautiful, elegant room, excellent lighting, 3 lovely balconies to see the sights below, large shower cubicle with powerful, hot shower jet, lots of decorative extras and even electric straighteners provided! Perfect location near the Málaga food market, in the 'Historic Centre'.

No shower gel, only shampoo, info leaflet was on a high shelf so we only found it when we were leaving. Neither mattered much though.

- Communication with the host was good. - the location is 10000/10!! - Check-in was easy; check-out was punctual and smooth. - The room is clean (i have high standards for that!) - love the tall windows, you can eat at the balcony or just enjoy the views (which i did often) - The bed is great — I slept extremely well. - I loved that there are plenty of power sockets. - The kitchen has all the basics you need (no sugar, but there were other spices like salt and pepper), plus crockery and cooking utensils. - There’s space for your luggage. - A decent open closet. - A/C works great, shower was hot! (really important for the colder seasons!) - Even extra's like: extra cosy blanket, iron machine Main concern regarding noise: I had read previous reviews about noise and was aware of this before booking. As of February 2026, this situation has definitely improved. The restaurant that used to be on the opposite side of the ground floor is no longer there. It’s now a new takeaway coffee spot called "Mala Leche". The only noise you might hear at night is from city-cleaning buses passing by for a minute or two. That said, I’m neither a very light nor a very deep sleeper. This property is located in the centre of a bustling city - it’s important to be realistic about noise in general. I would consider booking again. The location is absolutely impeccable: couple of minutes away from Atarazanas Market, the main shopping street, Picasso and Thyssen museums. also walkable to Pompidou and Malagueta Beach. There are a loads of restaurants in the area! The express Bus A passes close by - handy if you are going or coming from the airport! Wouldn't doubt to book!

- Regarding the bathroom: the shower space itself is spacious, but the sink counter is small. I personally prefer a bit of visible space for my skincare and makeup. There is a cabinet for those who are okay storing their items there. There was soap but no douching gel. - There’s no bidet (not an issue at all, just worth noting since it’s more common in places like Spain or Japan). - I personally prefer digital access codes. Check-in was easy, but the keys are picked up in person at check-out. This wasn’t an issue for me, but it could matter to those who prefer more privacy. - Having to go outside the building to take out my own trash wasn’t something I loved. These are all small things and should not stop you from booking here — it’s a lovely place to stay! :)
