Spacious Modern Apartment 42 Brewhouse

Die Lage! Eine alte Festung, fast wie eine kleine Stadt in der Stadt! Tolle Restaurants, kleine Shops und ein wunderschönes Kino. Schöne Wohnung! Das Bett ist sehr bequem, das Bad ist groß und in der Küche ist alles da bis auf eine Kaffeemaschine.

Die Schlüsselübergabe. Man muss diesen in einem Hotel abholen. Sind ca. 20 Minuten von der eigentlichen Location entfernt. Und es gibt nur einen Schlüssel. Abzugshaube am Herd lief durchgehend und konnte nicht abgeschaltet werden.

Some of the basic extras were minimal e.g. toilet rolls, coffee and tea, milk. It would cost very little to provide more of these. We would have preferred a view without the antique crane; we were in flat 42. If we had known this we might have changed to a different flat. A picture of the view from the bedroom when we booked would have solved this. A parking space nearer the flat would have made transfer of our belongings to the flat easier

Location was great - flat was really nice but a little tired in places

It was a pain collecting the keys and returning them far away from the property. A lot of emails received for just a one night stay. Deposit needed - strange for a one night stay and still not returned?

The location was amazing - especially during stormy weather. The TV was simple to operate! The bed was comfortable.

I couldn’t reach most of the crockery and glassware as it was placed in high cupboards - not everyone is 6 feet tall! I was unable to use the oven as the markings had worn off and I couldn’t figure out how to heat anything in it! The microwave was also difficult to work and I ended up cooking everything in 30 second batches. Holiday accommodation managed by Pureserviced is a pain as you have to submit evidence of identity beforehand, pay a damage deposit of £150 and then call at their office in Plymouth to collect the keys. And then you have to return the keys to the office once you have checked out! This is very annoying especially if you don’t have a car. In my opinion this is all totally unnecessary when booking through Booking.com!!!! I stay in many self-catering accommodations both in the UK and abroad, mainly booked through Booking.com, and these properties managed by Pureserviced are the only ones I’ve encountered where entry to the property is such a palaver!
