Royal William Yard Apartments

Good to be in RWY Location, the flat lounge was comfortable, good shower, grateful for fan and kitchen area with fridge. Ease of key collection and drop off. Very cheerful and helpful staff who tried to solve our need for twin beds but didn't succeed(see below)

We specifically booked twin beds, told on arrival only 1 king size! Staff tried to find an alternative flat but couldn't so ended up erecting a z bed in the lounge - not ideal for a superior suite! NB - the king size bed turned out in fact to be 2 single beds linked together so they could easily have been separated! BUT Huge amount of uncleaned dust, fluff and dirt behind the king sized bed! so we didn't perceiver in separating the beds ourselves. Not enough Toilet paper, only 1 spare roll and 1 partially used for 2 people for 3 night stay. The 2 bottles of milk in the fridge were sour and congealed. The sink in the bathroom was almost impossible to drain. No answer on helpline. Long trudge through the Brewhouse building to get to our room, airless and oppressively hot in corridor and long walk back to the stairs.

Excellent location, light and airy, good views, comfortable bed and seating areas. Convenient parking. Staff were friendly and helpful. There was a lot going on in the yard.

The over bath shower was not easy to get in and out of, it was tricky to regulate the water temperature and we had to ask for a non slip mat. There was a piece out of the enamel of the bath near the plug which we reported.

Lovely apartment. Fabulous view. Royal William Yard a fascinating area to return to.

I always think it would be helpful to have instructions for gadgets etc. I prefer dining chairs to bar stools. There is a strange smell as you enter apartment. Poor lighting in main room.
