An excellent apartment in a lovely location

Location is excellent and Royal William Yard itself is such a lovely place, with lots of places and to eat and drink as well.

Original property was great, advertised as 2 bed but was only one. We assumed a sofa bed, but realised it wasn't one. Called them and James was excellent. He went over and above to resolve the issue immediately. Moved us to a larger 2 bedroom apartment which was amazing. He met us with the keys at 10pm (as we'd arrived late). A really excellent service and continued to check everything was ok throughout our stay. Thank you James.

Lovely stay but frustrating exit!

The location in Royal William Yard is absolutely perfect.

Checking out was frustrating. There were no instructions on vacating the apartment. The key was eventually left in the post box but this was only through asking a resident who allowed me access into the mail box building. The building from where I picked up the key at the beginning of our stay was locked so I couldn't return the key to the agent. This was at 09.30. We had a 7 hour drive to face and the experience spoilt the end of our stay.

Lovely location and apartment for a few nights in Plymouth.

Met by a really lovely host called Rachel. Very helpful with the car parking too. Beautiful kitchen and lounge - and a pint of milk in the fridge. Lovely touch.

It would have been even better with bed side tables and with a bath that functioned as a bath. Though the shower was very good. I thought the aprtment was supposed to have a king-sized bed - but ours definitely wasn't that big! It was comfy though.

A great apartment, everything you need , warm and cosy. Good supply of kitchen essentials.

The only downside, not really the apartments fault , you can see the harbour or the sea. It faces into the RWY.

Lovely modern apartment very tastefully decorated

We were greeted with the keys and shown the apartment. Everything was catered for. Only slight issues was a coffee machine that didnt have the right pods. Royal William Yard is lovely but a bit out of Plymouth

Overall, it was very relaxing, nice view of Sunset.

The views from the apartment, spacious, and lots of windows and sunlight. Fresh air 360 all around. Convenient for the ferry services.

The view from the property was just amazing . The apartment has got good location with lovely restaurants arounds. Lovely interior design.

The stairs are a bit slippery specially for small kids.

Plenty of room for 5 and very handily located.

The location is excellent. Easy access to the Barbican and City Centre, as well as Cornwall. Dartmoor is a short drive away. Plenty of good eating and drinking establishments on site. The site itself has a lot of historic interest.

One of the bedrooms is effectively on a landing with no privacy.

We would certainly return.

We enjoyed our stay at the Royal Williams Yard very much. The apartment was spacious and it was interesting to walk around the historic location. There were plenty of eating options on site, and a convenient ferry to the Barbican is on the door step. The apartment had everything one needed. Rachael was a very good host, who went out of her way to assist.

Eating in the apartment could have had better seating, or a small table. A minor issue. Make sure your parking is paid in advance.

It was a fantastic place to stay while I visited my family and friends! So much going on in the Royal William Yard! I have stayed many times and I can honestly say it’s the best place to stay in Plymouth.

Location. It was beautiful, fantastic architecture and surrounded by wonderful restaurants.

Two bedrooms had no privacy, this should’ve been made clear beforehand and one bathroom shower had a lot of hair left from the previous people.

Lovely apartment, perfect for a couple. Two bedrooms, one on a mezzanine above the lounge accessed by a spiral staircase. Everything you need for your stay. Lovely furnishings and lovely and light.

Always a joy to stay at Royal William

Location and the structure of the building

We had a little bit of problem with the entry door into the building. I coded in the numbers and pressed the key symbol but the door didn’t open. I then pressed the key symbol then keyed in the code and repressed the key symbol and the door opened. Maybe a clearer step by step opening procedure would help.

Superb apartment in a great location. Very highly recommended

We have stayed in RWY many times over the last few years so we know the area and setup. It was very handy being able to do our own self checkin. The apartment is beautiful with lots of space and lovely views across the harbour.

The sofa was a little low for me as I have knee problems, however there are plenty of other seating options, so no real problem.

Perfect location for our needs, with plenty of restaurants to eat out. We love Royal William Yard have stayed many times and will do again !

The lift broke down on our day of departure so we had to get our luggage down 3 flights of stairs. At least we didnt have to carry it UP the stairs !

It’s described as a 3 bed apartment however 2 beds are on a mezzanine floor with no privacy The window in the loft space wouldn’t shut and rained came in making the area cold

The best Christmas ever!

Everything was amazing. The property was even better than the pictures. The kitchen had everything we needed for a Christmas feast! The tv room was like a cinema and the bathrooms were beautiful. We had a technical issue on Christmas Eve and someone came out straight away. Couldn’t have wished for anymore.
