Beautiful location, lovely stay

Caravan decor was really lovely and the extra treats well received by all of us. Bottle of bubbles to welcome the new year and some milk for the morning and lots of treats for the kids. Great to have a selection of coffees/teas in cupboard and also loads of black bags, cleaning products and other extras you wouldn’t normally get in a caravan.

Perfect little find, tucked away

It was truly a home from home. Everything you could need, toilet roll, washing up things,cleaning spray, hand soap, salt & pepper - the list goes on! Even a sewing kit! Great communication too.

Stunning coastal walks location

The location was very peaceful and the coastal walks were amazing . The caravan was very tidy and very well equipped.

Unfortunately the pool was closed for maintenance and we had to go to the Riviera club for the pool which was lovely so ok in the end. No WiFi and absolutely no reception on phone which wasn't necessarily a bad thing but needed it a couple of times so had to leave the van to find a signal.

Impressive accommodation, would recommend!

Captains quarters is a beautiful accommodation, with lots of thoutful features and themed decor. We were really impressed with the unexpected welcome gifts and the games, books and dvds that we found. The hosts really have thought of everything! We loved that the park was overlooking the sea, and there are nice coastal walking paths and a big grassy area. Its a nice quiet area, so perfect if you just want to enjoy the view and relax.

The facilities on the park site could be better. The playground is small and for 5-12 years. The bar/kitchen had a sign on it saying no food Friday/Saturday, but even on Sunday we could only see one member of staff at reception, and that was it. They also advertise a shop but I'd say it's more of a pantry cupboard though 😂 Nothing to do with Captains Quarters though! We couldn't be more happy with the caravan itself.

Lovely place to stay

Lovely clean and tidy, very cosy with a lovely welcome basket of crisps chocolate, biscuits, and even a bottle of wine! Fully stocked with tea coffee sugar etc. Everything needed was provided. The setting is beautiful with berry head a few mins away, which is a stunning walk with Lots of wildlife We didn't use the pool, etc, as we were on a flying visit to see family

There is nothing about the actual caravan. Regarding the site, the evening entertainment on saturday was very loud. That said, it ended around 10pm, and we appreciate that that's a personal thing.

Spacious, well located caravan, with good facilities and onsite amenities

The property was easy to get to and clean. It was spacious and had all the facilities necessary for a long weekend or if not longer stay. It was great to have the amenities on site with the bar, swimming and entertainment.

It would have been nice to have a slightly earlier check in time and check out time, 10am always feels like a rush particularly when you’re still enjoying your time away.

We had a wonderful stay .The caravan is amazing . Very comfortable and has everything you need . It’s furnished beautifully.We didn’t want to leave . Great location too . This is our 2nd stay here this year and we will be back in the future.

Fabulous holiday home - more like a cottage than a static caravan

Amazing touches - very cosy and with everything you need for a short break and stuff you hadn't even thought of. Welcome gifts were a lovely surprise. Great selection of books, games and DvDs and a very well stocked kitchen. Great location in a small but beautifully situated holiday park.

Great time

We had a great family time together we come to Devon several times a year. And this was a great base for our stay. The games kept the kids entertained in the evening. Beds very comfy. Well equipped kitchen . Amazing time had by all thank you

The Chapman family

Our 1st time staying in Brixham visiting family. This van has everything you need. Even tea sugar coffee and a pint of milk in the fridge next to a bottle of wine. Oh, and let's not forget the coffee machine. The beds are very comfortable. So homely and cosy. Would definitely recommend 👌

Superb

The caravan was fantastic very roomy the kids loved having dvds and board games to play with. And having the extras like the air dryer hoover etc made it easier the fluffy blankets went down well with the girls would definitely stay again. We had a little walk down by the trail and views were amazing.

We didn't get the entertainment passes, but from what we could see, they wouldn't be worth paying extra for them. we used the arcade a little outdated but kept them busy for a bit.

A refreshing break

The caravan is spacious clean and comfortable, situated on a pleasant serviced site, ideal for a family break.The hosts left a welcome pack which was nice, enabling us to enjoy a cup of tea and biscuits after a long journey !

There is a pool on site, along with amusements and club facilities. A week's pass costs £20 a head each, we were only there 3 days and were asked to pay £48 , we asked for a discount & the management kindly allowed us to use the swimming pool without a pass. This was the only thing I could almost say I didn't like !! Everything great.

Exceptional

The caravan had a lovely warm home from home feeling. With everything you needed and more to enjoy your stay. We needed a little help on our last day, contacted Sally and within 15mins her Husband was on hand to help... Brilliant. Will definitely book again if we're in need of somewhere to stay in that area. Loved the little treats... A lovely surprise

It wasn't a great ordeal, but we needed to pay for passes to use the facilities. Didn't find the actual reception staff forth coming with information. However another member of staff near the bar, was helpful and gave good customer service.

Really comfortable and clean accommodation. Nice touch of complimentary biscuits, bottle of wine etc. The shower was fantastic - good flow and plenty of hot water.
