Nice cosy cottage - well equipped and comfortable.

The access across a short, very narrow bridge was not detailed on the booking webpage. We unfortunately on one occasion misjudged the bridge causing damage to our car. There were no amenities within walking distance such as a shop, pub, cafe or restaurant.

Perfect for a total mind reset peace and quiet

Second time staying I love the location, for the peace and total reset of the mind. I love the cosy front room and the beautiful kitchen. I love the front garden for my dog to run around with the peace of not being able to get out. Parking is easy if you have a small car. It's just an ideal location for Conwy, Llandudno and visits to Anglesey The bed is always comfy with clean fresh bedding.

Nothing to not like The bathroom tiles could do with a little bleach or something on them, for a good clean. But it doesn't stop me booking.

Great facility, great location

What an outstanding location! So convenient to Conwy without the hassles of the city. It is so very peaceful here, and the only noise is the creek. The place is very nice, and has all you could want for a stay — including the well-equipped kitchen. The host Kate is one of the nicest people on the planet! Sound too glowing? Well, not for our stay—she made it very special, and we so enjoyed the place. Thank you

Beautiful cottage in a great location.

River Cottage was clean, comfortable and homely. The welcome pack on arrival was generous and thoughtful. The shaded path by the river was great for walks with the kids and the dog on the hot days. Smart TV was also great and the kitchen was excellent. Everything provided was top quality. A peaceful location and a fantastic base for our sunny week in Wales. Kate deserves great credit as a host. This is a lovely property and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Perfect long weekend

It was everything we could have asked for: very well equipped kitchen, tidy bathroom with good shower, very convenient location, lovely garden, dog friendly, informative and friendly host, all in all a great property. We would stay here again.

The floors were VERY creaky which wasn't a real issue but it disturbed our dog a bit.

A little slice of heaven.

River Cottage was amazing, it was exceptionally decorated and very clean, it was home from home with everything at hand. A nice helpful gift of milk, water and some beautiful Welsh cakes. The bed was very comfortable with beautiful smelling bed linen and lots of lovely soft towels. It was lovely to sit in the garden in the sun with lovely garden furniture. What I liked on arrival was all the windows were open to let fresh air in. The house smelt lovely. It was in a great location right by Conwy and easy access to other places. Loved it there, will return again.

Tranquil stay in North Wales

A quaint stone cottage situated in a rural area with a stream running in front of the property. Our host Kate kept in touch via the message site and we were given clear instruction on how to locate the property and access keys. The cottage is delightful with two large bedrooms upstairs and a full size bath and shower. A large kitchen with every possible appliance you could imagine, comfortable lounge with two sofas and a wood burner plus a seperate dining room. And there is more with two sun drenched seating areas to the back and front of the building. Good safe parking with a rather challenging bridge access. Beds were comfortable, heaps of spare blankets and there was plenty of hot water. Reading the reviews given by thoroughly satisfied guests I can see why this property rates so highly. The property is unbelievably good value for money. Handy to Conwy and Llandudno the property has many idyllic walks in close proximity and a reasonable shopping centre about 2 kms away. Perfect for families and particularly good for longer stays.

Just a few ideas. Doors wouldn't stay closed in bedroom/bathroom, toilet door doesn't lock, okay if a couple, but took a guest with us, so no privacy. 2 pillows too high, 1 too low, maybe take your own to add to comfort?Could do with some plastic cups to take outside to sit.

A wonderful, spacious, comfortable, quiet and relaxing cottage.

A wonderful, spacious, comfortable, quiet and relaxing location, with a short walk up a trail, across the street, to a superb pub, with great lo-cost meals. A well-equipped kitchen, that had a welcome starter package of Welsh cakes and milk. The bed was good, and the shower had plenty of hot water. The stairs to the bedroom and bath were very narrow, and the stair steps were quite small, which required care and attention when ascending or descending. You had to push or move your luggage either behind or in front of you, but this did not pose any serious problem. There was a private assigned parking spot out front. When you left in the morning it was easiest to back down the private lane towards the narrow bridge, line up your car facing the bridge, and carefully cross it. If you did not want to cross the bridge and navigate the private lane, you might be able to find parking in the public area on the street, but it was always full when we were there. The narrow bridge was daunting the first time we crossed it, but after that it became an easy routine. Besides, we liked the privacy of the parking spot right next to the cottage.

As noted, parking was a challenge during our first attempt, but became routine thereafter. It would have been real challenge to attempt it at night the first time.

The cottage was very clean, warm and cozy. There was wood for the fire, the bed was comfortable with nice bedlinen. Nice quality towels. powerful shower. Good location.

The weather !!! My husband wasnt keen on the narrow bridge , but you can park on the road anyway so not a problem.
