Catamaran Cottage

The location was fine...good access to Newport, Waldport, and Yachats, but access to the beach two blocks away was difficult.

The advertised room price made no mention of the 16.35% Resort Fee ($48) and the $136 Cleaning fee. So the quoted price of $293 ended up at $561, which was a 91% increase in the base price. Had we known those costs, we would not have reserved the home, and feel like we have been "jobbed". Additionally, both the king size bed and queen size bed were very soft...no firmness at all, and the queen bed didn't have a frame...the box springs just rested on the floor. Check out instructions requested us to strip all the bedding, and start a load of laundry, start the dishwasher, and take the garbage outside. That generally isn't an issue, but when we were charged $136 for cleaning, it is inappropriate.
