Wonderful house very clean and comfortable furniture. Well stocked and host very reaponsive. Things that could be better the listing said 2 rooms with 2 queen beds when we got there one was in the garage torn down. It put an older adult in the kids twin bedroom which was not ideal. This house got so hot and there were no window blinds and we had fans running pulling air from outside. Problem was upstairs you can not open any windows. So fans in every room glad we brought 6 of them.

House was in pretty good shape. Kitchen was well-stocked. Most windows that should have had a hand crank were taken off or didn't work. People sleeping upstairs could not hear the ocean at night because of no open windows.Master bedroom had a 3" foam mattress on top of the mattress. It was hot sleeping because of that. It may have been placed there to cover the stains. This bedroom was the only one with a working window.One of the fans provided blew too hard and loud to be used at night. The other fan was dirty and rusty. Needs to be cleaned or replaced.The two Weber grills were filthy and rusty with parts missing and in disrepair. We wanted to use those, but it would have been dangerous to do so.For the money spent, I expected much better.

Close proximity to tons of fun stuff to do, beach access was nice, cleanly property, gorgeous house with great kitchen (I’m jealous). Accommodation for kids was very nice and the beds were weirdly comfortable. Literally had us looking up mattresses while we were going to sleep.

Our family of 6 had a great stay in this home for a couple of days after Christmas. The views of both the ocean and bay were gorgeous. I enjoyed the 3 separate, comfortable sitting areas where everyone could hang out. My son loved the huge bunk room with all of the train building toys. The house had nice touches, like throw blankets in the sitting areas and cute ocean-themed stuffed animals in the bunk room. The home is larger and more attractive than it appears in the photos. The weather was wild during our stay and it was lovely to have such a cozy place to relax in while watching the storms and waves outside.

The property is very nice BUT the lack of flow of air from the outside was unbearable. The weather outside during the day was 69. So the temp wasn't the problem. It stated that due to heavy winter storms the owner sealed the windows shut. We looked at other local properties and their windows were open. So we couldn't justify why they were sealed shut. My Grandson and wife left early because they couldn't sleep comfortably in the upstairs bedroom. Also there should be a TV in the living room for gatherings. This home has so much potential being right on the beach but they need to fix this problem.

The place was awesome!! Had a short walk to the beach. Had everything you could need for all ages. Worked out perfect for the family gathering. My mom having a rental property on the oregon coast she was vey impressed with the home. The one thing I would've fixed would be the back deck. Could have really caused an accident or tripping hazard. Other than that the house was amazing!!

This was a vacation for brothers, sisters and cousins. The house was amazing and comfortable for all. the rooms were great especially for the kids. The kitchen was well stocked and there were plenty of towels, sheets and blankets. the only reason this did not get a 10 is the pool. It belongs to the club and is only available at a fee for 3 hours during the middle of the day to renters. The kids were very disappointed since we had some cold days. We made it work though and talked about renting it again.

You know what they say, location, location, location. This beautiful Waldport oceanfront home offers stunning views and easy access to the beach. The house was spacious, clean, and well-decorated, providing a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere for our vacation. This is the perfect house for a large family or group. We were disappointed that the outdoor space was not as described. The back deck needs significant repairs, and there were no outdoor chairs. We were all looking forward to enjoying the beautiful outdoor scenery, but the two chairs that were outside were both broken. Also, we couldn't open most of the windows due to damage. There were notes on each window that repairs would be made soon. It made the house incredibly stuffy to not be able to open up the windows and let the ocean breeze flow through the house.

We have a new favorite rental house for our coastal visits! This house has it all. The beds and couches are all super comfy, the location is perfect (step outside to the sand, with a fire pit immediately in the “backyard”), and a very well stocked kitchen. The only thing I’d suggest be added are soaps and shampoo/conditioner in the showers, but not a deal breaker!

This is a terrific house, especially for families or groups up to 8. Great playroom/bunkbeds for kids, a short, comfortable walk over modest dunes to the beach, beautiful views, the house is very well appointed with a ton of kitching utensils and devices; everthing very clean upon arrival. Only thing we noticed is that the deck in the back of the house needs attention; warped boards make it somewhat unstable. One drawback was that lockbox was broken upon arrival, and communication with owner was a bit slow; number of housekeeper is posted on sign in front driveway and she came within minutes to let us in. Owner's voice box was full so we could not leave a message; messaging worked better but we had some stressful minutes after a 3 1/2 hour drive from Portland when we could not communicate directly with the owner and only noticed the housekeeper's number almost by accident in looking around the property for emergency information (and then needed to call twice before we got a response). If the housekeeper is the most reliable contact, suggest owner put that information clearly on pre-arrival instructions.

The property and house were exactly as advertised. The home was clean, plenty large enough for our group of 12, and well stocked with items that made our stay even more enjoyable. The view from the second floor of the coast was incredible. We definitely would stay there again and would recommend staying there to others.

we had a little trouble at check-in but then everything was great we were a party of 4 adults and 4 teenagers. There was so much room. beds were good and the house was clean on arrival. kitchen has a great stock of utensils. We packed sand in no matter what we did as we made many trips to the beach to collect shells and rocks and to enjoy the great beach just yards away.

Lots of room to spread out! Upstairs room with lots of couches & a TV/Downstairs has a large kitchen ~dining room w/big island for socializing. Walk out the back door to the ocean. Steep driveway with parking for 3-4 vehicles. Thank you

Overall the house accommodated our needs. The bunk room did not have the number of bunks as the listing says, so we had people sleeping on the floor. There are only 2 bunks(sleeps 4). But the upstairs had a good amount of room for all who had to sleep on floor. Downstairs master bed mattress leaves a lot to be desired, VERY squeeky, sheets don't fit properly. And you can't really see the ocean from the downstairs living area, or the deck due to the berm, just know before you go. We still had great deck time and great meals! Double oven came in handy.

The house was good size and well accommodating for what was needed in the kitchen, etc. The books and toys were a nice bonus for the kids. The kids room was very well set up and stocked. As a mom, I love that there was a crib and high chair, even though my kids have outgrown those things. People with mobility issues thinking of getting this house because it is right on the beach, please find somewhere else. The beach IS right out the back door... after crossing 100 yards of loose sand dune hills. We re-reviewed the the listing when we got there to see if this was a huge oversight on out part and the pictures definitely don't show the distance or how hilly it is. We didn't see anything in the description about it either. Anyone with ankle, knee, hip, or back problems will have trouble making it to the beach. We were a little surprised at the state of the house: there were missing window handles that were just spiky metal nubs; the blinds in the master bedroom had to be tied up because they didn't have the internal strings in them to raise them; when we swept up the kitchen and dinning are for sand, there was a lot of dog hair that came up with it; upstairs on the carpet there were full size chips still on the floor from the last guests; the big couch upstairs had a large tear in the cushion; the upstairs TV had no remote or volume control; there were definitely not enough towels washcloths on hand. Each of these things alone is annoying but all piled together felt like a lot. When we got to the house, someone was there vacuuming the back of the fridge. She let us know that it hadn't been holding temperature so if we had problems to let them know. It definitely wasn't the coldest fridge ever but nothing spoiled. And the next day the owner called to let us know a garage repairman would need to be let in between 12-2 on the following day. The owner did offer to be there himself, or if we could have someone there that was fine. The repairman was quick, but also didn't tell us he was leaving. The stay was not horrible. The house was fine. The trudge to the beach was too much for some of our party. I would not book again based on that.

The house fit our family of 9 very well. With that many baths, we didn't run out of hot water! The open concept between kitchen, dining & living rooms was perfect. And the upstairs family room is roomy with very comfortable sofas. All in all, we thought the house was lovely. If only there wasn't so much sand to clean up!! lol

The house was great. We loved being close to the ocean but really didn't care for the dunes as it obstructed the view of the ocean from the ground floor. We also love leaving windows open to catch the breezes, listen to the sounds and help cool off the house when the weather is warm, this was not possible because of the amount of sand around the house.
