Great location and space for a family of 4
If you arrive early than check in time you have no access to enter the building so we had to wait sitting on the street with our luggage outside.

Very spacious and clean apartment with great quiet location. Good bed! Nice shower. Lots of hanging space for clothes. Easy access with codes.
Sofa a bit uncomfy. Hot water from the shower run out at some point. Bathroom didn't have any countertop space which made living of 3 ladies a bit difficult.

This was a spacious apartment in a great location in Malasaña. The apartment was surprisingly quiet (it's at the basement/terrace level) given the location. The layout was convenient with a private bedroom, living room with a fold-out couch, and nice kitchen. Prior reviews were concerned about cleanliness which was not a problem at all.
The apartment was clean and tidy but showed some signs of wear (broken tiles, burn marks on the linoleum) and the building likewise was a little shabby. As a basement apartment there is not a lot of natural light (although the kitchen looks over a courtyard).

•The location is amazing. Right in the center of Malasaña.
•The receptionist David who really did his best to sole our issues sitting our stay. He was kind, thoughtful and keen to help
•Noise insulation is poor. You can hear everything from the neighboring apartments through the interior patio. Our window also wouldn’t fully close, which made the noise even worse.
•The bedroom can’t be fully darkened. The morning light comes in very early, so don’t expect to sleep in.
•The photos don’t fully reflect reality. The property feels more worn and dated than the pictures suggest.
•Our first room felt much smaller than what we booked.
