The location was amazing, so close to everything we wanted to do! The staff at the hotel were exceptional, very friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. We arrived many hours before check in time and were grateful that they stored our bags while we explored the city. Our room was clean and comfortable. We reserved a room with a small balcony and it was delightful to relax there in the evening. The rooftop was a nice shared space and also nice to relax on after a long day of touring. We also appreciated all of the extra efforts the hotel takes to be environmentally friendly.

The only negative was the city noises at night that sometimes woke us up, but that was to be expected in such a busy area and the building is historic so does not have the soundproofing that more modern buildings have. The hotel offers ear plugs if you need them.

Location was good. And Ammar was a wonderful person! I will genuinely miss him. But the hotel is a bit cramped and the check in process wasn’t ideal. I could tell they were doing their best, so I sympathized. But it’s more ideal for people who travel light.

If you have a lot of luggage or are traveling with small kids, it may not be ideal. Good for couples and young people who want to be close to it all.
