Great location . Well equipped apartment

Nice apartment on the whole, although on the expensive side. We visited over the Easter break. The pics make the apartment seem bigger than it is but it was enough space for 3 people and there were 2 bathrooms. The beds are comfortable. There were enough towels and pillows. Both the a/c and heating worked. It is located in a quiet area (there was some roadworks going on one morning and some 'pulling chair' noise from someone in the above apartment a few times but otherwise it was fine). Main landmarks are within walking distance - most are within 20-30 mins walk. Communication was great, the management is very responsive. The TV remote was missing but after contacting them, they did bring one the next morning although it was Easter Sunday.

The bathroom door in the en-suite bedroom did not shut. I think someone else mentioned it before in a review and yet nothing has been done to get it fixed. Only a few tea bags and a few coffee pods were provided for 3 people for a 4-nights stay. Only my dad used the tea bags and by the 3rd day, there was none left. When I asked if we can get a few more, I was told to go buy them at the supermarket. This was frustrating as I did ask before my stay whether there were coffee, tea, and sugar in the apartment. If not, we would have brought our own. I was told they were offered as part of a welcome pack but they didn't mention that it won't be enough. It would have been good to have instructions on site on how to use the oven/hob.

We stayed a week, and the reality fell some way short of the presentation. The welcome set the tone: arriving on a Sunday, when shops are at their most limited, we were cheerfully told the coffee pods had run out and that we could buy more at "any supermarket." The next day brought blunt knives and not a single tea towel, cloth, or oven glove for handling anything hot — all eventually provided, but only after we pressed the point firmly. The hot water heater deserves a mention too. It has a mind of its own, though sadly that mind is rarely focused on heating water with any consistency. My main reservation is value. The photography is expertly done — almost too expertly, as it considerably flatters the dimensions. The apartment is far smaller than it appears, and we've genuinely stayed in larger hotel rooms. Even with a 20% Genius discount, it remains significantly overpriced for such a compact space. There's potential here, but for now it's let down by basic oversights, an unreliable boiler, and pricing that doesn't reflect the reality.
