Wonderful stay in a lovely town near Loire's chateaux

The host was great - I felt that she really cared for us and wanted to do everything that we could have a nice stay. And we did! Also, the breakfast was great - it was served in a garden and it was delicious, it was a nice opportunity to meet with other guests.

Our room was on the ground floor and windows to the street, so we couldn't open them as people from outside could see straitght to the room.

Really lovely experience

Typically French. Well appointed rooms, generous spaces. Access to a small kitchen for fridge facilities. Could use garden facilities. Marie Claire was lovely and welcoming and very helpful in booking restaurants for us.

Welcoming and comfortable.

Beautiful house, very warm and room was spacious, great location. Marie Claire is a wonderful host, extremely helpful, and also a fantastic breakfast! Homemade delicious yoghurt, eggs, croissants, bread.. and homemade chocolate muffins! I would certainly recommend a stay here.

Only small complaint would have been that the bed had sheets and blankets rather than duvet, but that’s personal choice.

Excellent base for exploring this lesser known part of the Loire.

Excellent choices for breakfast, freshly prepared fruit salad, good cheese and charcuterie selection, hone made yogurt. Choice of jams and honey. Marie Claire went out of her way to help us with our visit, booking meals and suggesting visits..

Very hospitable hostess who is very adept at dealing with customers who don’t know French (like us). The breakfast is delicious and the rooms are comfy and completely refurbished. The hostess also recommended an excellent restaurant for dinner.

Marie-Claire is an amazing host, she gave us tips on what to do and where to eat and helped us to book the restaurant. The breakfast was very good and more than we could eat. The building and garden give a nice atmosphere.

Spacious, comfy room with a beautiful view of nature

Lovely place to stay right in the centre of the town. Marie-Claire was a delightful, friendly host. She allowed us to upgrade to a room with a beautiful garden view and prepared a delicious breakfast. Room and bathroom were lovely and big and very clean. With the current 6PM curfew, we ate in our room. There's also a kitchen available but it cannot be used when there are multiple guests due to the sanitary protocol.

Just to mention, although it didn't bother me at all (they're really adorable and well-behaved), that there are animals here... in case people are allergic to dogs and cats!

Questionner un voyageur la veille en « détail » avec une fiche à cocher sur ce qu’il prendra au petit déjeuner le lendemain …m’a semblé inopportun et n’évite pas pour autant le gaspillage : bp trop de pain coupé et de beurre par exemple …et des voisins de table avant demandé des gâteaux qu’ils n’ont pas mangé cette demande est superflue, inappropriée à l’arrivée, et semble peu appréciée par les personnes présentes, malgré la bienveillance de la propriétaire aux petits soins des locataires .
