About this house rental

This beautiful ocean front home was built in 2007 with luxury in mind. Custom fixtures and slab granite countertops throughout, one is pampered in this true home away from home. From the entry, the great room opens with a two story wall of windows with breath taking views of the ocean. The loft above offers the same stunning views, with cozy seating areas and a cedar lined king bed alcove, pool table, flat screen TV/DVD, XBOX gaming console, and bathroom. The large great room provides plenty of seating for friends and family to view the ocean while relaxing by the fire. Also included in the great room is a poker table for card or board games. The kitchen is outfitted with all of your cooking necessities for any occasion. The master bedroom and a guest room are conveniently located on the main floor, with each having a bathroom. The lower level is equipped with three spacious bedrooms with ocean views, full bath, laundry room, and garage access.

Great size home for our family reunion of 16 people. Beautiful ocean view and close stairs access to the beach.Could use some new non-stick cookware, new pool cues and some new mattresses for some of the beds. Over all we had a wonderful time.

We anticipated enjoying a coastal view of the Oregon coast and got everything we hoped for. The location was perfectly suited to hiking and whale watching. The kitchen was well stocked to prepare and serve meals for ten of us. While initially we were surprised that we weren't a walkout to the beach, the staircase was close and actually the location enhanced the view. Well done.

The view is the star of this house. The house was large and had many beds, more than the 7 of us needed. The main floor needs a refresh of carpet, furniture and kitchen appliances. The kitchen faucet only produced a dribble of water. It was a short walk to the stairs to the beach. 77 steps down, meant we only went to the beach once a day. But the view was absolutely beautiful.

The house was quit comfortable, plenty of rooms. The kids enjoyed playing in the loft with the pool table. There was some difficulties however:. The furniture was mostly all in poor condition. There was no dish cloths and no extra trash bags. Overall it was okay.

Location was superb. Home layout was perfect for our family of 15. Home is showing wear and tear and could use some attention. Upholstery repairs needed in the great room. Food splatters across the blind behind the sink. Light to the right of the entry stairs is hanging out of the wall. The last home we rented was immaculate and I guess we expected better conditions for the price we paid.

This place is amazimg. You walk in to floor to celing wimdow with a great ocean view. There is so much space for everyone to sleep. The beds and sheets are so soft and comfortable

This home has such great potential. It is quite outdated. Lots of rules about no shoes and being careful about the use of the home and it is really kind of beat up and run down. It is a great location and the views of the ocean were beautiful and the beach access was very close. We really enjoyed ourselves but it was really run down and needs a refresh for sure!

Nice to have new pool cues this year and the BBQ heated up. However, over all we were very disappointed this year compared to last year: Overall cleanliness was poor which is the reason for 1 star: ~ one guest had to wash the bedspread due to spots all over it. ~ Beds upstairs not neatly made. ~ kitchen drawers were dirty inside; some of the skillets were blackened and could not be used; silverware supply not adequate for the number of people. ~ carpets and walls dingy. ~ front windows dirty on the outside and could not enjoy the view. Was not worth the cleaning deposit. Overall our family of 12 decided they did not want to return next year.

The property was in the perfect location and the view was the best! In the kitchen the Teflon on the pans was chipping. There were no wine glasses, which you would think a house of this size and budget would provide higher quality kitchen items. There was also a lot of dust on the walls and fake greenery in kitchen that would fall on you when you opened the cupboard to get a glass. The beds were comfy and the rooms were perfect size. The pool table was great. One safety concern for kids was the window upstairs opened from the bottom and was very low to the floor. A child could fall out easily if opened. The hot tub was well maintained and was great to look out at the view as we soaked. All in all, we had a great time!

Our family of 14 has been vacationing on the Oregon Coast for the last 16 years. We always rent a house large enough for all of us. This has to be the cleanest, most comfortable, fully stocked and accommodating property that we've stayed at. This property was clean enough that I didn't feel the need to clean when I got there as I have done at many rentals in the past. The view was amazing. We were able to whale watch right from the deck. The beach access is super close (though there are 77 stairs to the beach so it's not ADA accessible). The location is perfect with a nearby grocery, restaurants, coffee. My bed was very comfortable (and I didn't hear anyone else complain about theirs). I was able to contact the owner a couple of times with questions and he got back to me right away. There was plenty of seating for the 14 of us for meals. The home was spacious enough that we didn't feel like we were sitting on top of each other. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Great location and ocean views. The house was dirty, founds nuts in rugs, bathroom with cob web/spider, feathers from a throw pillow were all over the front room and we could see them under the furniture. Kitchen floor dirty. Several things broken, 2 chairs on deck, 2 binoculars, 2 hand towel bars fell down, toilet paper roll broken. Toaster didn't work, several light bulbs out, one outside deck light is loose. LOTS of rules all over the house on top of all the rules we printed out.

The house served our family of 15, The view and location were great. The beds were adequate; but the pots and pans in the kitchen need to be replaced. The ceiling fan blades look like they are coated with dust. The 77 steps down to the beach were demanding for the older generation. Overall we had a wonderful time with our family and enjoyed Lincoln City very much.

Beautiful home! Great room wonderful for our group of 13 ladies. There was not adequate silverware, glasses or dishes. There were only 11 forks. Also not enough wash cloths. New hot pads are needed. Maybe an inventory check is in order? Otherwise, we had a great time!

The home was stunning, the views were spectacular…. The dust on every surface above normal eye height, was horrid (my brother is 6’7”, he sees more than most), we were nervous turning on the ceiling fan because of the amount of dust on it, the light over the dining table had a large amount of dust. The guardrails outside looked as though they hadn’t been cleaned in a long time, preventing a clear almost perfect view of the ocean. All of the batteries in the remotes were dead, including the garage door openers. The hot tub was not locked down, hadn’t been cleaned and had that musty gross smell as though they hadn’t chlorined it, in months. I’d also bring my own towels during my visit, they’ve seen better days. The fridge was broken in several spots when we arrived and taped into place. It was just a disappointment of the condition of the home vs what we paid to stay. On the plus side, we made memories. We played games. We laughed. We ate. We celebrated our Christmas together.

This Taft Beach house was the perfect beach house rental for our annual MLK weekend away. There were 11 of us (all adults) and we all had plenty of room without feeling over crowded. The beds were very comfortable and, with the exception of the fan at the top of the vaulted ceilings, the place was very clean. Great ocean view with a beach access trail very close by. Mo’s was 5 minutes away if you wanted a quick seafood meal as well. Would definitely stay here again! Andrew was very responsive to emails.

The home is lovely and has a gorgeous view of the ocean. Very roomy and comfy. The basement was a little cooler than the rest of the house which made some of our group uncomfortable. There were plenty of beds for all of us, but not enough linens for us to not have to share which again made some uncomfortable. The dust on the fans, lights, frames and other areas was black and thick and aggravated a few people's allergies. But otherwise the home was perfect.

We enjoyed our stay. We were blessed with beautiful weather. It was a gathering of my children and grandchildren. My son suggested that we make this a yearly get together. My children were surprised that the bedrooms didn't have TVs. I didn't mind at all. My favorite space was the living room facing the ocean. So beautiful!!! My son owns his floor business for 6yrs and said that the carpet was past due being replaced. Other than that, the house was well stocked with everything we needed.

For the amount of cleaning fee, I was disappointed. cabinets were grimy, master bath wasn’t clean enough, hand railing on stairs was loose. Multiple light bulbs needed replacing. Upon arrival the garbage was completely full. Come to find out, it should have been picked up on Thursday, we arrived Friday. With 12 in our party, garbage was accumulating quickly. Reached out to the manager with no solution. Called the owner and found out about pickup times. The house was lovely but the furnishings are becoming tattered and worn. Location was great but I felt a little over priced.

Spectacular property, excellent location, quiet neighborhood, great beach, lovely kitchen/living space, fun loft, and ample room for family reunion! I'd definitely stay here again. Note: for anyone who is mobility challenged, the path to the beach is a short 3-4 houses away but a solid 77 steps down to the beach. Misc: nothing that would deter us from staying here again, but we did notice: —they could use new pool cues —a few minor repairs were in order (one rickety chair, a loose towel rack & loose faucet, one blind not working and another cooked...) — the inside of game table hadn't been cleaned (a stronger hand-vacuum for guests would make this easier) — wanted but couldn't find a long-handled squeegee to clean the balcony railing/windows on wet mornings — one person suggested a deep clean might be useful... but nothing that would deter us from staying here again! 😃

14 of my family members came together to celebrate Christmas, the house was everything we needed. Tons of space, fully stocked, the hot tub was fun as it snowed around us, and the owner was super responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend, plus beach access is about 2 doors down. The place was even better than the photos.
