About this house rental

270º waterfrontage from this luxury home on Devil's Lake! Three story, 4,000 square foot house, with five large en suite bedrooms with private bathrooms. Elevator access to all three floors for family members who avoid stairs. Great for hauling groceries and luggage in and out of the house. A wheelchair ramp leading up to the entrance makes the house fully accessible.

Fully appointed chef's kitchen and bbq. The entire first floor is a kid/teenager area with video games, ping pong, pool table, partial kitchen, bunk bed and queen bed. Dedicated office, with printer and high speed internet.

We greatly appreciate the five bedroom with its own bathroom, the accommodating long dining table, and the large kitchen. It’s too bad we did not get to enjoy the hot tub since it rained all day Friday. We used the kayaks, surfboards and brought our own row boat to enjoy the lake on Wednesday and Thursday. It’s great that even though the house was by the lake, the beach was five minutes a walk away.

Relaxing and quiet area and home, but close enough to get anywhere in town fast. Pets only allowed on first floor which would be good to know prior to paying instead of after as it made us have to adjust rooms and plans. Otherwise great rental.

Suffice it to say that finding a property on the coast to host a large family with an elderly parent who is incapable of climbing stairs is quite challenge. Jill worked with me to ensure that we had adequate cooking supplies bedding and all the necessary entertainment to keep the large group happy. As far as the property goes some of the reviews posted here are absolutely ridiculous. I'm not sure what people are looking for in a VRBO but this property was quite clean the checkout chores were reasonable and there were no rules or policies that seemed out of line at all to me. The pool table and ping pong table and kayaks and canoes and stand-up paddle boards were all the bonus that to be honest we didn't take full advantage of but it was nice to have them available and I'll plan on using them on a future visit. I also brought along my Labradoodle who enjoys the surf and the ocean and the sand and Joe was very accommodating of my dog as well. I would agree with another reviewer that most people's animals need to be by their side and Jill might reconsider whether allowing pets on the upper floors might encourage more pet owners to stay at the property. From my perspective there wasn't anything on the upper floors that a dog would put at Harm's Way although I agree that shedding dogs may be a little more of a mess to clean up. Jill thank you for the wonderful time mom was excited she considers it her best birthday ever in 75 years and dad was able to join us on any level!

We had the best time. This house is so unique. It felt like we were staying in a fairytale! The elevator was so helpful for my elderly parents. All bedrooms with bathrooms was amazing. Kayaks and life jackets for the kids were amazing. Loved the garage man cave for the 20 year olds. Fished off the dock and caught a few beautiful trout. Location was amazing on the lake and could walk across the street to the beach. I would recommend this place and stay here again.the hot tub was so nice too!

Don’t be misled by the phrase ‘pet friendly’ when they have very strict rules about keeping your pet on the bottom floor only and not allowed on furniture such as the couch or bed, unless you bring your own cover (blankets) for putting over their furniture. The main living and eating area is on the 2nd floor, so you will either be ostracized from your pet or from your family and friends. That is not pet friendly. Also, there are a lot of rules, not great parking, a TON of chores to do when you check out. Overall, the price is not worth the value.

Came for a family getaway to the Oregon coast. The house is right on the lake, convenient for kayaking and paddle boarding etc. plus you can walk two blocks to the beach. The house odds well equipped and has plenty of space. Really enjoyed our stay.

Our family enjoyed our rare time together in this lovely, spacious & peaceful home. The abundantly supplied kitchen,plentiful & comfortable furniture ,abundance of gorgeous art,curio collections & lovely decor made our visit feel more like being in a well loved home than just getting together in a rental ,which I believe was especially refreshing for those dealing with health challenges. Being able to bring our young family dog was a blessing for us even though she was somewhat traumatized by an off leash dog who appeared from nowhere after our 1st walk on the beach & attacked her as she was getting back into our car in the parking lot. Sharing this for other dog lovers who may bring them: please keep aware of the possibility of a possible loose dog sneaking behind cars.

Well we loved the house but i wished you had tv in living room. There was a hair tie in master bedroom, so i assumed maybe they didn’t clean right. I wish you had vacuum and some cleaning supplies around so i could clean lil more, I didn’t like that kids couldn’t sleep downstairs cause it was very cold and even for my dogs, good thing i bought them extra blankets for them, they don’t have much fur. I didn’t take pictures in house cause I expected the house to be more up to date, looked like old furniture. We love Lincoln City so maybe we will see u and in July and August. Thanks for everything

What a perfect location!! And the 5 bedrooms + basement area all with private bathrooms was ideal. Was unaware of the elevator, but it sure came in handy for those with mobility issues. Would definitely rent again. The hosts went above and beyond.

We loved this place so much the first time that we knew it was a must to book a second time. We had a party of 15 and the house not only accommodated all of us, but still had plenty of room for kids to play around and not feel trapped. The property manager is amazing and so easy to communicate with. By far our favorite place in Lincoln City.

We stayed here with 11 people aged 16-56 and had a great time. The house is centrally located with a very short walk to beach access. The dock right on D river is relaxing and the views are breathtaking. We saw herons, mink and deer right along the water's edge. The kitchen is equipped very well for a large group. All the bedrooms were comfortable. The owner was fantastic with communication. We are so glad that we got lucky with this last minute reservation.

We had a group of 16 and this house was all we could have asked for. Beautiful property and location. It was just a few minutes walk to the beach. We loved having access to the canoe and kayaks for the lake. The hot tub was awesome. The only complaints were small things that didn’t hinder us having a great time. More extra bedding for the hide-a-beds would have been nice. As well as more wash clothes and dish towels in the kitchen. But overall we had a fantastic stay with great communication with the owners.

We had a blast swimming, paddleboards & kayaks in the lake straight off the dock. The beach was awesome, just a short walk. The youth bunkroom was a true hit! Love the hot tub. Love the birdwatching. Looking forward to next trip. Thank you for a great space for family reunion.

The house was amazing and the lake was peaceful. Very different than staying on the beach. Just a short 2 min walk across hwy101 to the ocean. Heating element went out on the hot tub our first night, so we took turns up in the jacuzzi in the master bdrm. I did find some cob webs in a few of the rooms and also found some socks that were feom the previous guests. Besides that we would definitely stay again!

My family immediate, with spouses and children were able to stay at this property comfortably for the week between Christmas and New Years. We loved walking to the beach everyday, just a 2 minute walk, no worries with crossing the highway because of the traffic light. When we weren’t on the beach we were entertained by the wildlife swimming around the lake and taking out the kayaks. The only thing I will say was disappointing was that the kitchen had some missing measuring utensils that made it difficult but that is most likely due to prior inconsiderate guests. Also, we couldn’t find a dust pan so it was difficult to clean up some of the dirt during the week. All in all we had a lovely stay and would recommend this home.

Trying to find a suitable accommodation for a big group with kids is not always easy. We were very happy with our choice this year in our annual Autumn Fest lake house getaway. This vacation home is as described. Really convenient location right in the middle of Lincoln City. Lake access is always something we look for and this house has a great one. With actual usable Kayak, canoe, and paddle boards, it had everything we needed. Kids enjoyed a bit of fishing right on the dock. The host was great and provided clear and timely responses. We have stayed in different homes on Devil's Lake, this one will definitely be on our list of consideration next year!

Our families came from all over the west coast so this large house provided a great gathering place. The ground level really helped the younger group have their own space, even their own kitchen! Main level was great for hanging out and all our meals. Kitchen - well set up (except dishwasher needs to be updated!). Location on freshwater was picturesque; great for canoeing etc. Lots of walks to the wide, expansive beach. We drove to many other spots, however, some of our party never left the relaxing home. Short drives from Lincoln City have great attractions, cute towns, neat coastal culture, great beaches and hikes. Fantastic house for our memorable reunion. Only complaint: we were inconvenienced by shortages almost immediately. Bath towels!, paper towels, toilet paper and trash bags were not appropriately stocked for a property supporting large groups at this luxury level. This can be easily addressed by the responsive and supportive property managers. Great stay.

This was a bittersweet stay for all of us. My granddaughter who was 13 and medically fragile got her angel wings last Wednesday at home. She had a team of incredible caregivers and nurses. Everyone was at a loss so magically there was this great house that we could all share for a few days which happened to be the hottest days we have ever seen inland. There is plenty of space to have private moments and areas to gather to share in a group. The owners are great. We all recommend this Lakehouse.

My family had a fantastic time celebrating our daughter’s graduation. The house was clean, kitchen was nicely stocked and the lake was perfect! We spent our time jumping off the private dock into the lake, kayaking, paddle boarding and in the hot tub. We had the most perfect view of the surrounding wildlife. We saw beaver, deer, ducks, geese, and fish! Its just a short 4 minute walk to the beach. It’s perfect for a large group. Jill and Robb are wonderful hosts and made sure we had everything we needed.

Rented the home for our daughter's wedding. We had excellent communication with our host before,during and after our stay making sure all was good. . We had an amazing time. The house was warm and inviting. We absolutely loved the views and the kids had a blast in the water with the paddle boards and kayaks. We loved this location right on the lake with a 5 minute walk to the beach. Loved the flexibility of being able to kayak on the lake in the morning and walk to the beach in the afternoon. Perfect size for 4 families. Loved the downstairs space and garage set up for the kids. We would definitely stay again.
