Our flight from Pico was late to arrive in Ponta Delgada and we arrived after 9pm. The key in the lock box did not open the outside apartment door so we had to call our host Aresnia Leite and he immediately came over to give us the correct key late at night and apologized for the key error. The spacious apartment had a master bedroom with ensuite large bathroom plus a second bedroom with a smaller bathroom off the hallway. There was a lot of closet space in the modern apartment with a large kitchen with top notch appliances and very well equipped including a full space refrigerator, dishwasher, oven and microwave plus a clothes washer off the kitchen area. We did not cook any meals in the apartment; only had a light breakfast there for the two of us. There was a large TV in the living room with sofa and comfortable chairs and the dining room in the same area and beautifully appointed features throughout. Located on the second floor of a four story building with an elevator for two similar apartments on each floor so there was never a wait for elevator service. The outside balcony had access from the living room, kitchen and laundry room whtch gave the apartment plenty of natural light in the daytime. The apartment was close to the airport but we did not hear any aircraft noise; the apartment was very quiet. We were very pleased with the apartment located in a residential area with many similar buildings just outside the downtown area. It was located very close to the excellent Xitaka restaurant and nearby Continete supermarket in a mall and easy access to the highway for various island trips. We would rent Casa do Kiko again if in Ponta Delgada.

There was nothing to not like about the apartment.

Duże mieszkanie, dwie sypialnie i dwie łazienki. Dobrze wyposażona kuchnia. Fajna lokalizacja, w pewnej odległości od centrum ale bliziutko na piechotę. Bardzo dużo miejsc parkingowych.
