Exceptional sea view apartment

We met the owner, Peter, who was very friendly and explained us the surroundings; everything was smooth, good whatsapp communication. View is lovely, with the sea; there are hills to walk, but we did not mind. We walked to Piran and Portoroz center. We chose wisely to stay in Portoroz as it has a chill vibe versus Piran. The location invites to relax and just enjoy the setting. I adored it!Parking place provided. Good to have a compact car as streets are narrow.

Beautiful view from the balcony, nice apartment and a great host - this is your place!

First things first: Peter is really a great host. He was flexible with check-in, got us a basket with fruits and basic things in the fridge (like beer :-) ) - which is something you are going to appreciate especially when coming on Sundays when the shops are closed. Always ready to help. And he realized it was my wife's birthday on the departure day - so she got a nice present. The location: we liked it but it might not be suitable for some quests. You need to walk down to the beach (and then back up), which takes some ~10min. But we liked we were further away from the "strip", it is quiet up there and... the view of the bay from the balcony is great! You can enjoy your breakfast / dinner there - it is really nice. Last but not least: parking place (for one car) is reserved for you. The apartement is very nice. You get a separate sleeping room (quite small - but worked for our kids) and a large dining area with a sleeper sofa. You get a prefectly equipped kitchen (under rare circumstances you could perhaps miss an oven, but there is a microwave with a built in grill - at least I think so, we didn't use it). Big thumbs up for Moka Express :-) And for the hand blender for milk shakes :-) There is also an A/C - which comes in handy, given you are under the roof. But we had ambient temperaturs so we didn't have to use it. And TV (some kids channels included) and WiFi - you know, this "must haves" :-) Bathroom was large & clean, washing maschine included. There is a shop with a walking distance (~5min). Just 3 units/flats in the house, one is on the lower floor, you and Peter would be on the upper floor. Probably only disturbing noises within the house come from our kids. If you are coming to Portoroz with kids and you don't want to lie on the beach the whole day and do also some other activities (museums / Piran / Lipica / Secovlje Salina Nature Park) - this is your place.

There is just one suggestion for an improvement: a mosquito net for windows - we would have appreciated that a lot :-) The location on the hill might not be suitable for people who would have problems with walking. But you could still take a car and park in the huge parking lot (free shuttle to Piran starts in front of it) or on the other side at the "city" beach. And four times a day there is a free shuttle to "Pokopalisce" (cemetery) from the big parking lot - it takes you to the stop "Antena". You still need to walk approx. the same distance but it is quite flat.

Great views, excellent location to explore the coast of Slovenia. Supermarket nearby and also 2 hikes. Quiet location, nice dark bedroom due to schutters & good matras. Good working WiFi.

No negatives for us. To get to appartement you need to be able to go up some steps. Walking down to boulevard also includes steps or sloping road.

Accommodation was impeccably clean. Hosts were very friendly and helpful, they were really thinking of every little detail to make a stay as pleasant as possible. As we are family of 4, we really liked the whole experience and happy to write this review.

Wonderful weekend in Portorož

Clean, nice apartment. Fully equipped kitchen. Beautiful sea view from the terrace. Friendly, helpful owner. Fruit, mineral water and juice awaited us in the apartment. Parking is right in front of the house. Grocery store 5 minutes walk. Lovely pet - dog Basti. :) We will be happy to return at any time.

Just like home: there is everything

Perfect, in this apartment there is everything you need: kitchen equipment, washing machine with detergent, iron with board, Nespresso coffee maker etc. We received gifts from the super host (olive, fresh vegetables and fruits, drinks, milk, coffee). You have to bring only clothes for yourself. The flat is modern, clean. Shop is near. There is privat parkplace which is worth a treasure in Portoroz/Piran.

Good to know that beaches are near but the road is very-very steep. There are a lot of mosquitoes.

Mindenkinek ajánlanám!

Kényelmes volt a szállás, csodálatos kilátás a teraszról a tengerre. A házigazda nagyon figyelmes. Gyümölcsökkel, hűtőbe készített sörrel, vízzel és tejjel vártak. A szállás pontosan olyan, mint a képeken. Nagyon jól éreztük magunkat. Nyugodt környék.

A parkolás az egyetlen kellemetlen dolog. Azt nem szerettem. Kellemetlenül lejtős. De nem megoldhatatlan kiállni és beállni.

Heel proper, ruim en veel licht. Groot terras met prachtig uitzicht en met goede tuinstoelen en zonnescherm. Zeer vriendelijke eigenaar en eigen parkeerplaats.

Der tolle Blick vom Balkon entschädigt jede Mühe beim Erklimmen des Hügels, auf dem das Haus mit der Wohnung steht. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber, der Vermieter sehr zuverlässig. Wir würden jederzeit gerne wieder kommen.

Určitě se chceme ještě někdy vrátit, bylo to nejlepší ubytování na Jadranu, jaké jsme zažili.

Lokalita krásná, úžasný výhled, krásná krajina. Obchod kousek od apartmanu. Vybavení apartmánu, jaké jsme jinde nezažili. Porcelanove mísy, množství hrncu, pračka atd. Velice milý a vstřícný majitel. Přivítal nás misou ovoce a vychlazenymi nápoji. Při odjezdu jsme dostali víno jako dárek. Perfektní.

Od apartmánu vede strmá cesta k pobřeží. Pro starší nebo méně pohyblivé lidi může být problém.
