Apartamento Santiago I

Very well located. Downtown Funchal, the harbor and restaurants are all in walking distance. The parking garage is certainly a big plus as well. The balcony was great with a nice view. The apartment is very nice and comfortable.

The shower curtain was not looking so nice anymore and the bathtub had some stains.

Ideally located in a quiet area but still close to plenty of bars, restaurants, shopping centre and farmers market. The perfect spot for us as everywhere was within walking distance. Nice apartment with everything you could need and pleasant host who was there to meet us when we arrived. Nice balcony for spotting the arrival of the cruise ships.

We had to pay a €100 deposit in cash on arrival. It would have been more convenient to pay by card and then have it refunded on departure. Also the host arrives at the last minute to refund the cash on departure and collect the keys which was a little inconvenient for us as we were finishing off last minute packing. Very pleasant man though who obviously wasn’t used to dealing with cards. Could have done with a shelf in bathroom to put toiletries on.

Excellent size property with view over harbour. Very clean, neutral decor. Sufficient crockery and pans, etc. It was a bit chilly due to the adverse weather, but there was a heater in the store room that we brought in and used which made a big difference. We did have one issue while we were in the appartment, but a quick phone call to the host and it was sorted very quickly. Would happily rent this appartment again. We even found a Christmas tree and decorations here, so it enabled us to get into the festive spirit. A good supply of toilet tissue and some toiletries provided.

Would have appreciated some more towels and a change of bedding, but this wasn't a problem. There was a washing machine for us to use and plenty of drying space.

En rymlig och fungerande bostad relativt nära centrum och simstrand Bra säng och förvaringsutrymmen för kläder. Bekvämt garage.

Inget speciellt, men lite ont om placerings ytor i badrummet.
