The house is beautiful, the view from every room is breathtaking. The yard is huge. The master bedroom was very comfortable, the kitchen was big, the living room cozy. The owner was really nice and cooperative, with lots of helpful tips. It's my second time on Islay in a gap of two years, the difference between staying here vs the hotel i was in last time, made a world of difference. I will definitely come back on my next visit and recommend it to my friends
Some maintenance issues, like the back door that was stuck, or a window in the living room (good thing i'm a strong man...) some light bulbs didn't work. But it wasn't a big deal. It's a big house, takes a lot of maintenance. Not anything we couldn't manage.

Excellent location, beautiful spacious accommodation. Great communication from hosts, so helpful. Comfortable beds, plenty of storage. Kitchen well stocked. Large garden, with trampoline and swing set for children. Dog friendly, our dog loved the large garden. The view from the house made it for me, just looking out over the loch to the hills, so calming, and tranquil, a time to recharge.
