Very spacious, well equipped, very clean

The location is amazing; the accomodation is set in a quiet, secluded area of Ballycastle. It felt safe and home like. It would be a great place if you wish to bring a pet. It was great to have a full kitchen and washing machine as well.

Sadly, we felt the communication was below par. We were sent instructions on accessing the place but were told the wrong cottage. We tried Whatsapp and luckily our daughter had data roaming/phone service on her phone (ours had stopped working after we drove from the Republic to Northern Ireland and didn't realise that this would be a problem) so she was able to contact the host who informed us that we were in a different cottage. When we entered the cottage, we couldn't find the wifi details and then after locating them on the modem, realised that the password had been changed. Another Whatsapp message on our daughter's phone was needed to gain the wifi password. Then the host sent through the accommodation manual. This manual, wifi details etc would have been more helpful prior to arriving. The host even called us by the wrong names in one of the messages so we kind of felt like the host was not as attentive during this time. The bed/pillows we slept in were very uncomfortable and although there were some good aspects, it was not an amazing stay for us.
