About this cottage rental
This charming beach cottage was completely rebuilt ten years ago. Enter the front gate and you are on deck with views of the ocean. Built in benches provide ample seating for outside dining or just relaxing. A beautifully landscaped yard is fenced in for children's safety.
The ground level of this home features a great room with cathedral ceilings, a beautiful kitchen with pantry, and a master suite with a bathroom with a large shower with glass tile accents.
The upstairs is private master suite with ocean views and a bathroom with tub/shower combination.
The basement is ideal for a children or teen age suite. It has new wood floors. There are 2 twin beds and a new queen bed for sleeping. A huge TV , toys games, and books are provided. There is a third bathroom with a shower off this room. A washer and dryer are also located downstairs.
The description says the home sleeps 6 but it is best suited for 2 or 4 adults and up to 2-4 children. The children's suite is on the lower level and has twin beds and a queen size bed. The 2 master suites provide comfortable king size beds.

This is our favorite Santa Cruz house. The location can’t be beat, a block from the beach with easy walks to Crows Nest, Harbor Cafe, Deke’s Deli & Market and Java Junction. When the Murray Street Bridge finally reopens, it’s an easy walk to the other side of the Harbor. This is the perfect house for our family with different levels so we all have our own space. The grandkids love having their own room downstairs. We love watching a movie curled up on the cozy sofa or just sitting on the front deck with a cup of coffee or evening cocktail watching the waves crashing on the beach. The house is well equipped with everything you need from kitchen appliances to beach chairs. We hope to come here for many more years.

We are repeat guests. The layout and number of bedrooms/beds/bathd of the house works perfectly for our family. Very nice location, close to the beach. Well appointed with everything you need, feels homey.

This was a great place for our group. Three levels each with its own bathroom. All with TVs. There is a patio up front and in front of the unit which ch we used. We BbQ twice. The big plus is location. It’s a short walk to the beach which allowed dogs. The house was also good for dogs due to fence and access to dirt in front and side of unit. Couch was comfy and kitchen has all the utensils you might want. We had some trouble figuring out our stove and microwave but eventually figured it out. We really enjoyed our stay!
