About this cottage rental
This cottage is less than 100ft from a private neighborhood beach. When the tide goes out, sand bars appear that are perfect exploration playgrounds for children and picturesque walking/running areas for adults. The cottage is in walking-bike riding distance to 6A with local restaurants and stores.
Outside has a huge deck and small grass yard, all with water views. There is a large outdoor shower, ideal for summer living. Parking is available for 2-3 cars in the driveway.
The interior downstairs has a family/tv room with wrap around windows for views of the beach and lawn. Wi-Fi access is posted near the TV. There is a dining room with smaller sitting area. The kitchen is a good size for a family with a gas range oven, microwave, and dishwasher. The half-bath with a full-sized washer and dryer is adjacent to the kitchen.
The upstairs has a master bedroom with a queen-sized bed opening up to a fully screened-in porch with railings for child safety. The other two smaller bedrooms have 2 single beds and a bunk bed. A small, full bathroom is at the top of the stairs. The indoor shower is tight, but will make do on rainy days. This rental does not come with linens, please ask if this poses an issue.

We have rented this unit multiple times. We have also rented other other beach homes within the Brewster Dunes and a few others in Brewster over the last 20+ years. I find this listing to be very accurate. Even though this house has been rented for many years it does not seem worn down. You can see the owner have kept up with maintenance. The inside and out are in good shape.
The bedrooms and upstairs bath are very small and the house does not have AC, if you are reading the listing and looking at photos you can see that. The house having a bath and half is a very nice feature that many comparable rentals in the area do not have.
The outside yard and the large deck are very nice. The parking at the rental is also very convenient (not always true in the area). The upstairs screened in deck is excellent at night as it is cool and keeps the bugs away.
The real selling feature to this rental is the private beach. It is a very nice beach that is not shared with that many homes. The beach is never crowded and is very quiet. It is an easy walk to ice cream and restaurants. Super easy to get to the Cape Cod bike trail.
As someone that has rented summer homes in Brewster for decades there are only a handful that we have rented multiple times, and this is one of them. If you like the pictures, and you have read the listing carefully, you can rest assured that the actual rental will be as described and will look like the pictures. Owner communication is excellent.
