Colemans Cottage Fishery

The setting is beautiful. The pods are well thought out with everything you need. Lots of outdoor setting so plenty of options. Bbq facilities were good.

Unfortunately everything we didn't like has been mentioned here before. The extremely bad smell under the sink where the glasses and crockery are kept. If it can't be fixed at least put an air freshener in. Plenty of dust and cobwebs everywhere, a quick sweep and a dust would have helped. The outside cushions were kept down the side of the sofa, which was fine but they came out covered in dust and hairs. Quick whizz round with a strimmer to get rid of weeds. Wash the bath mats / buy new ones. The fridge was useless. It was extremely hot but we weren't able to keep anything cool in the fridge. Our milk had gone off by the next day. It gave off more heat than it generated any cold. It's such a shame as a few little bits could make this place amazing and at the price charged we will not return.

Had a super relaxing time, Jayne and Gerry and the family and staff were very welcoming and accommodating. Fishing was great, the banks and pegs are very well maintained and caught lots of good size carp and F1 on the different lakes. Spent the evenings on the deck overlooking the water with a glass or two!

It had all the touches of things you'd need for a comfortable stay - we found it cute and very comfortable accommodation. Beautiful calming lakes.

Nothing we didn't like - it was all just as you'd like for a relaxing break away. We went for the fishing for my husband and the chilling for myself and it was perfect.

The breakfast was very nice, and the location was superb for quietness and central for any amenities we needed extra to what we brought with us.

The only issue which could have been better, is the cupboard under the kitchen sink was very smelly of old drains. This is where the plates and glasses etc were kept.
