Well equipped house set in beautiful grounds. Lovely peaceful setting and a very attentive host. Lots of space in the garden of our gite - and our gite itself had plenty of room. The setting was perfect for us and near enough to local towns. We visited Dieppe and Rouen also during our stay. Our teens and dog equally enjoyed the setting so it was a real treat all round!

Our family of three and border collie stayed here for a week and had a really successful and pleasant time. The gite was clean and had an exceptionally well equipped kitchen with everything you could possibly need. The beds were comfy, and the garden was secure for our dog and big enough to play endless catch with the ball! The property was not overlooked and we spent a very peaceful week here and had beautiful weather.

We stayed in the lovely property in the last week of June.. We were blessed with the . I was constant sunshine throughout our stay. The property is in a very rural location and you definitely need a car to get around. The village of Bosc le Hard is only a 10 minute drive away and there is a lovely bakery, a few bars and a good supermarket. The property is also well situated for access to the autoroute to go north towards Dieppe or south to Rouen. The property itself was clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well appointed with everything you could need.The outside space was ideal to spend long evenings in the sun drinking wine. The only criticism we could make was a lack of hanging space for clothes. There was an open rail provided on the first floor but nothing at all on the ground floor. The ladies had nowhere to hang dresses or longer clothes. Other than that small point we had a lovely week and would love to return in the future..

We had a lovely holiday here. The cottage was very spacious and well appointed: the kitchen especially had everything we could possibly need! Thibauld was a charming and attentive host and the property is beautiful. We brought two small children and they particularly appreciated cycling around the grounds and feeding the goats! There is plenty to do in the area, even out of the high season. The nearby town of Saint-Saëns is beautiful as is the countryside around, and it is an easy distance from Rouen and the seaside at Dieppe.

Lovely spacious property with four bedrooms, three bathrooms plus separate toilets and big open plan kitchen/dining/living room. Property is ideal in good weather if you predominantly want to be in the property and go for walks locally. There is a Carrefour within a 5 min drive. There is little else locally in terms of places to go to eat and drink, however. Most places we wanted to explore were a reasonable drive away but Rouen is only around 30 mins. The Owner was very hospitable.

Would return again and would highly recommend to friends, family or anyone looking for a place to holiday, relax, reconnect and enjoy. High quality renovation offers a good size space without feeling on top of each other during our stay. The decoration has a modern feel. Well equipped kitchen - saucepans, mixing bowls etc. Not a lot of cupboard space to store food after you’ve been to the supermarket but good counter space. Good size fridge/freezer. Plenty of cutlery, crockery, glasses and mugs for all food and drink throughout the day. Two shower rooms are good, clean and tidy with warm showers. Good size bedrooms for sleeping, dressing and your luggage (no luggage storage under bed) Storage drawers in each room and bed slide lights for each person. A movable hanging rail is provided upstairs. A large open landing upstairs connects the rooms and doubles as space for reading, watching (second) TV or connecting games console. The host is delightful, family orientated and fast at responding to questions. The house is located on a beautiful family owned château estate. Garden with patio and grass area big enough to kick a football or play badminton. Carrefour 5-10 min in car at Bosc-Le-Hard with bakeries etc

Very nice place but requires a few finishing touches

Lovely Gite, just needs a few finishing touches, toilet roll holders in bathrooms, waiste bins in bathrooms. There were no tools for the bbq so had to use tools from kitchen which in time will damage them. Bbq had to be cleaned before we could use it, also some glass baking trays had to be cleaned before use. The patio doors were extremely difficult to lock, and there were no instructions for the oven and hob which seemed to have a mind of its own and could only be sorted by switching off at the consumer unit and resetting. This sounds negative but isn’t meant to be, we enjoyed our stay, the beds were comfortable and the building was clean. The shower on the ground floor was lovely, just a pity the one on the first floor was broken and could not be used, this wasn’t a problem to us but had we had a full Gite it could of been and we weren’t told about it until we arrived. The safety deposit is extremely high compared to others we have rented. We have been renting gites around France for over 20 years and this was the most expensive we have come across. The patio is concrete and is very dusty, which tracked in, making it difficult to keep the Gite clean. As first said it’s a very nice Gite but requires a few finishing touches to make it a great place.

Het was een hele fijne vakantie, super vriendelijke eigenaars, hele mooie rustige omgeving, zoals op de foto´s, huisje netjes, heel veel activiteiten in de omtrek mits kleine verplaatsingen, we hebben hier gewandeld en gefietst, de zon was er de hele periode en konden hiervan maximaal genieten op het zuid west gelegen terras. Kortom een aanrader. Monsieur de Beunaye, merci pour cette merveilleuse experience!!

Wir haben 12 Tage zu viert mit Hund hier verbracht. Ausstattung, Lage, Platz, Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter (nur auf französisch), alles top. Man muss allerdings viel Auto fahren, um das Meer (45 Minuten), Rouen (20-30 Minuten) usw zu erreichen. Dafür kann man in wunderbarer Ruhe den schönen Garten genießen. Sehr zu empfehlen! Netter Ort mit Bäckerei, Supermarkt, Post, Tankstelle usw. in 10 Minuten erreichbar.

Belle expérience. Maison agréable pour un séjour reposant. Gîte un peu excentré, mais on ne change pas la localisation des lieux! Il faut penser à vérifier les distances , savoir ce que l’on veut faire avant de réserver ! Dans la maison, beaucoup de place. Nous étions 6 et nous ne nous sommes pas gênés ! Une suggestion pour améliorer encore le gîte : des toilettes supplémentaires dans les salles de bain de l’étage seraient les bienvenues ! Mais les points positifs l’emportent ! Bonne impression .

Supernetter Kontakt - die Sauberkeit ging so. Schön ei gerichtet, einiges war aber schon nicht mehr ganz in Ordnung kaputte Schubladen...) Und eine saubere Klobürste schadet nicht. Ansonsten habe wir uns aber sehr wohl gefühlt. Achtung nur für Hundebesitzer - es gibt nur einen Schotterweg für einen kurzen Gassigang, ansonsten in der näheren Umgebung keine "Wanderwege".

We stayed one week with family in this nice flat (or should I better say house because it completely feels like this). The choice of furniture is very nice and the kitchen awesome. It provides plenty of space so you can really stay there with a large group. Also the garden is nice and with small kids we especially appreciated the fence so that the kids can‘t leave without us. We also enjoyed barbecue outside. This place provides you with a lot of silence and nature. It is completely natural that this comes with the need to drive with a car to the supermarket or restaurants. If you don‘t like this you have to book something more within a city center. We didn‘t mind and enjoyed the silence and our kids loved playing with the cat of the neighbors :) Thanks for having us!!

Na even zoeken hadden we deze toplocatie(!) gevonden. In zomer was het top, in winter of andere seizoenen lijkt het ons ook erg leuk en geschikt. Een erg mooi landgoed waar dit huisje onderdeel van uit maakt. En prachtig om (van buiten) in zo'n oud kararatistiek Frans huisje te zitten, en van binnen een moderne inrichting. Erg geslaagd! Contact was wel in Frans, ze spraken nauwelijks Engels, maar wij kwamen er met ons steenkolen-Frans alsnog wel uit: de vriendelijkheid en hartelijkheid van de gastheer compenseerde het ruimschoots. Een aanrader als je rust en ruimte zoekt!

Gîte tout à fait conforme aux photos: aucune surprise ! Propriétaire très accueillant et serviable, merci encore à lui pour sa gentillesse. La maison est au calme, rénovée, meublée avec beaucoup de goût et située dans un domaine très agréable ! La terrasse et le jardin sont parfaits pour profiter des extérieurs et des rayons du soleil. Toutes les commodités se trouvent à 5mn en voiture : boulangerie, zone commerciale, boucher, ... Une adresse que nous retiendrons pour une prochaine "mise au vert" !
