Location was perfect with proximity to the outdoor onsen. We were very comfortable at the place though it could use a refresh. That said, the hospitality and the outstanding meals provided are not to be missed. Beautiful family run operation.

Kohei and his partner are wonderful hosts. My welcome into their place was smooth, full of care and they even upgraded me to a river view which I loved. The location is an easy walk to the river onsen, the food that Kohei cooks is delicious, fresh and worth it if you want good local km 0 food.
One could upgrade the bathrooms and some of the walls/fixtures. Wouldn't take much and the 'modernization' for those small pieces would be noticed. Again, I stayed there for the location and I was not let down.

Swimming in the river across the street, was amazing. The hot spring in the river incredible. Breakfast was so delicious. We also ordered lunch to go, which was incredible!! our room was very comfortable, and it overlooked the River
