WOW Apartment on Collins

The location and views were spectacular. The layout was fine and two bathrooms were handy. The unit was well equipped with essentials such as kitchen equipment (tea and coffee) and bathroom lotions, shampoo/conditioners and cleaning stuff.

The beds were only double beds and very hard and uncomfortable. The lounge was only a two seater so hard for everyone to sit in lounge room comfortably when it is a two bedroom and if you have 3/4 people. There wasn’t any towels, so we had to get in contact with the person managing the apartment. The towels arrived very promptly but were threadbare and very worn. Also small in size and we were only given one towel each for 3 nights. The bed linen was not crisp white sheets that you expect from an apartment of this price ($290 per night) and again they didn’t feel fresh. There wasn’t any top sheet which we struggled with as we don’t like sleeping with just a doona.

The bed is not queen sized, more like double and not very comfortable. Pillows are old. Pool was not working. Just small touches would vastly improve the stay. Ie. Fluffy towels, nice sheets and pillows.
