Stylish Melbourne CBD Apartment Prime Location

Location great. Apartment comfortable and beds were good. Handy having 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

Place needed a good clean - carpets and lounge suite quite stained and grubby. No soap in bathrooms. No sugar provided and only one teaspoon in kitchen. No top sheet and duvets very old and thin, not at all attractive. Long wait for lifts. Strip light under vanity was playing up and had a strobe effect that was very unpleasant.

The location was very good.

Just the Beds in both room that wasn’t strong enough to lay down on due to the timbers are too loss and it Collapses when you seat on it.

The location of this hotel is fantastic — directly opposite Southern Cross Station, which makes getting around Melbourne incredibly convenient. The room itself was comfortable and the overall stay was pleasant, particularly because of how easy it was to access transport, food and the city centre. A special mention to the host, Marvin, who was excellent throughout our stay. He was very accommodating and kindly allowed us some flexibility with our check-in and check-out times at no additional cost, which we really appreciated.

There were a couple of small things that could be improved. The cupboards in the kitchen and bedrooms were untidy and the main bed is quite unstable so it could do with a bit more attention. There wasn’t quite enough coffee provided for the duration of the stay also but there are so many cafes it wasnt a huge problem!

Location.

The beds are double and not queen as described. One of the beds was unusable because all the slats had dropped. They were propped up by a single mattress under the bed. In order to use the bed properly, I removed the mattress and realigned the slats. The property owner did not answer any phone calls or messages sent. The room carpets and sofa couch were unclean, particularly the sofa which was littered with crumbs. The main bedroom had a constant humming sound from outside. There is also only 1 key available for use and not ideal when you have 3 people.
