Casa Bambu Tayrona, Los Naranjos

We had a wonderful stay. The pool is lovely, clean and surrounded by trees, it felt like a peaceful oasis. The room was nicely designed and felt comfortable, the staff were very welcoming. Highly recommend staying here. Side note: can’t swim in the river due to caymans living there. The pool is all you need though.

The staff were wonderful and helpful - from advice about transport options and trips , to the wonderful service at meal times. The room was beautifully and spacious and very comfortable. The pool was wonderful and perfect place to relax. The food was exceptional! The juices , fruit and meals were the best I have had so far in Colombia. This was the perfect place to rest after doing the Teyuna trek. Loved it so much and will come back in a heartbeat.

The property is nice and secluded. Not too big and therefore private. Location is to enjoy yourself, to rest and contemplate and listen to the animals and be respectful. The food is absolutely delicious and makes you eat there everyday

Staff should remind guests about the privacy and the environment they are in and to respect it!

The room size was great, the location, the staff was very attentive and helpful and generally the vibe of it was pleasant. Definitely felt like glamping in the forest.

The beds were very uncomfortable, the next day we both woke up and had back and shoulder pain. I know we are in the jungle but my partner woke up in the middle of the night with a giant insect on her face, also because the design of the cabins is to always have some air come in, it felt a little hot and the jungle noise night was a lot to take in. Lastly, it is hard to put this accusation as the kitchen staff were very nice, especially Maria but the day after we ate there we both ended up with food poisoning/traveller's diarrhea (suspect from the Ceviche). We should have tried to avoid the Ceviche but thought it would be clean due to the home cooked atmosphere.
